WL in December??

Can anyone tell me what type of rates they have gotten for the Wilderness Lodge in December during value season? We are AP holders, but not really expecting anything, although it would be nice!! We are debating on whether we should chose a moderate over WL for our hopeful trip this December to MVMCP (first time for the party!!) Thanks!!

We got a FL Res rate (which I believe is always the same as an AP rate) in Dec for $121 a night woods view...and of course the taxes and surcharge were extra. We then got a complimentary upgrade to courtyard view.

The WL is wonderful in December. Enjoy!

I got a rate of $137.00 (not including tax) a night for a courtyard view room for last Dec. (2-8). I called in the beginning of August to book POFQ but was told I was going to receive an e-mail with a code that I could not use for POFQ. I asked about WL since my husband always wanted to stay there and I got this great rate. WL was wonderful!! We loved the Christmas decorations and we had a great stay. Good luck with your rate!

That is an awesome rate !! How did you get such a good rate so far in advance? PM me if you can, please. We may be going during the early part of December.

I would have to assume that the December rates for WL will be the same as the just released September rates are. Both are value season, so should be about the same. People are quoting $129 before tax for a standard, so you should plan to start with that. Of course, not sure when in December you plan to do. I tried to get a discounted room for the first weekend and second weekend at WL (at the CM rate in any catagory and any view) and nothing was left. Hopefully they won't go so quickly at the AP rate. I had to settle for the AKL for $99 a night each for 2 standard rooms but was hoping for the WL--since we needed 2 rooms, I doubt if any opens up for us.
