WL fireworks

Is there any way to see MK fireworks from WL? We will be going in 2 weeks and was thinking instead of rushing through dinner to go back to see Wishes we could watch from our resort.

If you mean from your room, you would have to be in a high-floor Woods or Standard (not Courtyard) room on the North Wing for the best view (you could specify that as a room request). Keep in mind that this view won't be spectacular, but you should be able to see at least some of the fireworks. From the resort itself, I'm not sure, but the beach/boat dock area may have a view.

Thanks for the tips! I am guessing the trees will block the view from the beach/boat dock.

If you walk to the beach at FW you can see them just fine.

Room 6161 is a CYV - we are here now (leaving tomorrow an), and can see 75% of wishes fireworks. I've stayed at WL 3x and this is by far the best room I've had -- can see the pool, dock, fireworks, elp, geyser. Try to get it if you can.

Yes it has a solid front on the balcony but this hasn't diminished it in anyway.
I kind of like it - it adds a bit more privacy

We just stayed at WL for the first time last week and fell in love with it!!! Do you have any pics from your balcony? I would LOVE to see them!

Go past the Roaring Forks snack bar to the elevators. Go to top floor and there is window on the side facing the Magic Kingdom.It is in the corner of the resort facing the MK. The view is not the greatest because of the trees.

Sounds like you had an awesome room. So sorry you had to come home.

Was that a bunk bed room? We have courtyard view bunk beds reserved for 88 days from now and can't wait! Our 1st WL stay.

Yes! We stayed at WL a few years ago, and at the time, our kids were 2 and 3. Going to see Wishes was out because they went to bed at 8 p.m. I asked our Dreams Unlimited Travel agent if it was possible to see the fireworks because I had read about it here on the boards. She put in a request for a room in the Woods section on a certain floor - maybe 7th?. When we checked in, I figured we didn't get our request because we didn't see the castle, but later that night, we heard the fireworks, opened our drapes - and wow! - a great view of them. One night the kids stayed up and watched them, and then went right to bed.

Definitely worth trying to get one of those rooms.
