WL experts- standard room view-MK?

I need to put a request in for my room and I am confused as to my choices for a standard view. From what I have read, I have 2 choices, MK view over a service area/road or lobby room looking at rooftops.
What are the pros and cons for these? Do the service area rooms really look at MK? seems this would be a better choice, but not sure.

Also, lobby rooms mean the door to your room is facing lobby, so is there a benefit to this or is it just too noisy?

Last, we only have non smoking requested now- if we ask for a certain area, will we have less chance of getting upgraded?

I would not request a specific room number...
just mk view.

I did that for last month and got room # 5020 and it was great -
even had bunk beads!

opps sorry - we had woods view though so I am sure that does make a difference...

Are there really standard views with views of MK?
