WL Deluxe Room Views?

Hi there

We are thinking of booking a Deluxe room at WL. I just was curious to know do all deluxe rooms have wood views? or do any face bay lake/courtyard? and if so should we make a request for a lakeview on the reservation?

Hi There,

I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday - As we are staying @ WL also, I wanted to check on the best room views in the Unofficial Guide to WDW - here is what they state as the "best views":

For direct lakeview choose:
4000-4003, 4166-4169
5000-5003, 5166-5169
6000-6003, 6166-6169

For Main Pool & Lakeview choose odd numbered rooms as follows:
4005-4023, 4147-4165 *(odd numbered rooms only within this range)
5005-5023, 5147-5165 *(odd numbered rooms only within this range)
6005-6023, 6147-6165 *(odd numbered rooms only within this range)

Hope this helps! I'm calling today to put in my request. We really want a higher level room, with a pool/lakeview.

Now I'm not absolutely positive, but I believe they stated the deluxe rooms would have direct lake views...Check out the WL thread they have on this board, I'm sure the info is in there.

Allmost all of the Deluxe rooms are located at the ends of the east and west wings. They are facing the lake but the west wing rooms have lots of trees in front of them. You can see through the trees to the lake. The east wing has some with unobstructed views of the lake and some with trees directly in front of them but in general these havea more open view. There are 5 or so Deluxed rooms (one above the other) at a jog in the east wing half way down. These have great views of the pool, part og the courtyard and the lake.

we stayed in room 5166-a dleuxe room last january.
it overlooked. you could see some of the pool & beach.
perfect to sit on the balcony & watch the water parade.
