WL deluxe room question

We are planning our next trip for April, And thinking about staying at the WL this time. Does anyone know why the deluxe rooms at the WL are so expensive ($550/nite)? We have stayed at both the POLY,and AKL deluxe rooms before, (our MK view at the POLY was not even this much). We just do not know if it is worth this much $.

Well, its $485 in value season, so its the time you are planning. Also, the deluxe is concierge included AND its almost like a suite.. it fits 6!

The deluxe room is 500 square feet has a parlor with a pull out sofa a table, chairs and wet bar. The bedroom has 2 queen beds. It used to be called a Junior Suite so it rated quite a bit more money.

Here's the floorplan and as you can see, it's much larger than a standard room at any deluxe resort and doesn't compare with the deluxe room category. It definitely is much more like a 1-bedroom suite. By comparison, the Polys 1-bedroom suite is $750 during value season and the AKL's is $675. At $485 for the WL, you're getting a good deal.
