WL or CSR?

CSR will save me almost $400.

What do you think?

P.S. I'm also considering the 4 day park/3 day cruise, but haven't gotten my quote from DU for that.

We just LOVE the WL!! However, it's a matter of tastes. If money poses to be an obstacle, then by all means go to CRS. Just keep in mind that this resort has a conference center and depending on when you are going, there may be many people in suits going to meetings etc. This means that the food courts will (and the resort in general) will be very busy. If you have children, keep in mind that the WL has a beach with water craft rental, the boat to the Contemporary, MK and Fort Wilderness. Just a few thoughts!! Whatever your decision, I'm sure you will enjoy yourself!!

I have stayed at both and I am very biased toward WL. WL has queen beds, CSR has double beds. WL is all under one roof and CSR is large and sprawling-it took us 10 minutes to walk from our room to the main area for breakfast. I like the theming much better at WL. I do believe that CSR has better pools than WL, but that is the only thing I think is better with the exception of price. $400 would probably feed you for your entire trip. I think WL is now one of the resorts DCL picks up at, so you might check that out too.

We have stayed at the WL and we still don't get why everyone loves it. My family dosen't see why it's called a deluxe. The rooms are small and we felt very dark. In order to get around you have to go through the main lobby. The cm's we felt were not only unfriendly but when asking a question you got six different answers. ( it was about the hopper passes some cm's actually told us you could only go to one park a day.) We have stayed at other deluxe hotels the poly and the cr and with the monnorailand the room size we don't mind paying an arm and a leg for the rooms but not with the wl. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely hotel and has a killer lobbey for christmas but never would we stay there again. Oh yeah forgot to mention we are staying at the csr dec 19-jan 3.

pewing......We just got back from a wonderful trip to CSR. Check out my trip report from Friday! We stayed in the Ranchos section and I have to tell you it was wonderful. We were there at a great time which I know had a lot to do with it but it was extremely quiet. I have to say our first night we were in the Casitas and it was a lot busier with convention goers (still not too bad) and since we were there on vacaction we just requested to be moved to one of the other sections and they were very nice and quick about it. I was very impressed. We practically had the whole place including the quiet pool to ourselves. It only took us about 5 minutes to walk over to El Centro (main bldg.) We had a bus stop right outside of our building (7a) and honestly the first time I even saw anyone else going into their room in our building was the day we left! CSR is like two resorts in one. I am sure you will be very pleased with it just request the Ranchos or Cabanas section. We loved it! :)
