WL Cracks Open a Door for FD

For those of you who said to check every day for availability on this free dining, thank you!

Today I finally was able to modify my non-fd WL reservation for fd for 9/21-9/27. WL has been almost totally unavailable these dates (concierge only if anything). I got courtyard rooms so I lost some of the fd savings on classing up in the room, but it still made $165 difference for me. I might keep watching for standard rooms to open up, but I am happy I finally got some discount!

I believe in Disney Magic! Now I am really going to send in those post cards to win YMOD in earnest!

I saw it too as I have been checking everyday. I am waiting for a standard view and then I will pounce! I have AKL StV, so I can't justify switching even though it's "only" $250 more. It was only $300 more to upgrade from POFQ!

As of right now courtyard is available between 9/22-9/29! Garden view CR is open too!

I have been calling everyday for 2 weeks trying to upgrade from POR to WL standard and on Thursday morning they had a woods view available so I grabbed it. Might still keep trying for standard.

C_leen, we had a courtyard view our last trip and it was a great view. Mornings I sat on the balcony and watched the sun come up and in the evenings I would take a beverage out on the balcony and watch the people in the pool and all the others coming back from the parks. Everyone, enjoy the lodge, it really is very majestic and relaxing no matter which room view you have.
