I have been calling everyday for weeks now trying to get a cheaper room at the WL with my AP or FL resident discount code. If I got a standard view I would not care about looking at the parking lot, the room is cheap enough at 155.00 per night, but I have a CYV, which is only 600.00 cheaper than the Poly, my first choice, but was trying to save $$$, so I am sticking with the WL. Due to the amount I am putting out, I would like to TRY and get a great room since I am paying the big $$$.

What CYV room do you like or dislike and why ? Example: Quiet, close to elevator, lot of noise, close to pool, boat launch, to far from everything, and most importantly, which room has the best view of the lake pool etc, I think my husband and I will be sitting out a lot while the girls are sleeping for their nap during the day and at night too?

I have on my ressie a bears face room, but I am re-thinking that because of the trees right in front of the rooms. :scratchin

I have no advice, but keep bugging folks until you get a good answer. We went over to WL on Sunday just to check it out and I noticed that some of the rooms have really horrible views (e.g. peaked roof right in front of the room, with parking lot in the background.)

Thanks missypie
I am really wanting this trip to go smooth. Last year at the Poly we had to move to a different room because we were not happy. I want to just unpack and enjoy the room :)

We just got back last week. We had room 3015. It was a courtyard view room with a perfect view of the pool. We could kindof see the lake through the trees but weren't able to see the Water Pageant. The reason that I'm suggesting this room is that is was VERY close to the elevators and Roaring Forks. It literally took us less than a minute to walk to the elevators and maybe two to get to RF. It was close to the pool and ferry boat dock. Overall, we were pleased with the room.

And, you'll be happy to know that when I was there, I brought clorox wipes to clean the phone and remote. So it's at least semi-clean at this point. :rotfl:
