WL completely booked dec.4

ok i just tried to change my check in date from dec 5 to dec 4 and the cm told me its booked so i asked if just standard rooms are booked and she said the whole hotel is completely booked i thought early dec is a slow time of year..is this really possible...well i guess i will just call back in a week or so to see if anything opens up

It might be possible that the whole hotel would be booked. But I imagine some of those bookings include reservations from people who haven't made up their mind yet. You know, book WL and POLY and see which ones we want once discount codes come out....or something like that.

Keep trying to get what you want. It's early yet.


p.s.- Have you been to the lodge before at Christmas time?? It is AWESOME! My DH wants to take up permanent residence at the Lodge.

we only got to stay there for two nights a few years ago in dec and it was so pretty..it even smelled like christmas when we walked in..this time we will be there for 6 nights but i am trying to make it 7 so im keeping my fingers crossed a room will open.

That's a Saturday night, many local people plan weekend trips to take in the Christmas activities. WL is very beautiful at Christmastime, I'm not surprised many would want to stay there.

Some of those rooms at WL maybe blocked out for travel agencies and AAA. I'd check both of those sources for available rooms.

According to Disneyworld.com there are courtyard views and deluxe rooms still available for that night. I don't know how much of a pain that would be if you would have to move after one night, but who knows?, maybe they will just tell you to stay there=free upgrade?!?!?! I once called DW to make reservations with a discount after double checking on the website to see if there actually was availability with the discount before I called. (does that make sense?) Anyway, they wouldn't give me a discounted room, stating they were all sold out of the block of rooms for the discount. I asked her how that could be and she informed me that DW.com and CRO are like two different companies and they both have separate "rooms" to offer. Soooooooo, long story short(yeah right! LOL), you could go DW.com route.

The Swan & Dolphin are also booked for Dec 3 and Dec 4, per S-D reservations department. But, you can still book a room through Dreams for those two nights. So take the other poster's advice and keep trying.

As others have said, there are a number of reasons why there are no available rooms for this date . . . all of which could ultimately result in a cancellation or sudden release of blocked rooms.

This exact thing has happened to me before when I tried to add a Saturday night to a WL stay in early Dec 1999. I just kept calling and calling and finally, on a Sunday morning, the date I needed suddenly became available. In the end, I didn't keep the reservation due to the fact that my parents decided to join us, and I simply could not afford 2 rooms at the WL (we chose POR instead). But I digress . . .

Just don't give up hope! Try again today. If no luck, try tomorrow, then the day after, and the day after that, etc.!

I just booked this morning for Nov 29 - Dec 6th WL courtyard view.......they had every room type avab.

i just got off the phone with cro and they did have courtyard view available for the 4th which wasn't available yesterday but i really don't want to have a room for one night and then have to switch so i will keep trying..
