WL and walking distance to Hoop De Due?

Hoping this is the right forum ...

I've read that there is boat service from WL to Fort Wilderness. That's great as I am considering Hoop De Due for our 1st night at WL. Does anyone know when the last boat from Fort Wilderness to WL is? Or can we walk from Pioneer Hall back to WL? Considering last show and read (somewhere) that the boat service ended at 10:00. Don't see the point of driving to Fort Wilderness then waiting for a bus.

there is a jogging trail that runs from FW to WL but i believe that it is a coupl miles long and not lit
at night not an enjoyable walk in the dark...what time do busses stop running?

You could always take the ticket transportation bus and then hop on the WL bus, or take the downtown disney bus and then the WL bus...or take a cab to save yourself a lot of headache.

We learned from experience..when going to something special at WDW in the evening, while staying at WL..don't count on the boat to be running. We couldn't believe it...and we ended up taking almost two hours to get back to WL from MK one night.

While the path from WL to FW may in fact be less than a mile long, it is the case that there are no lights. I took that walk this summer during the day, and it was pretty dark and almost spooky - there also weren't many people traveling on it until I got almost to FW so I wasn't even sure I was going the right direction until I was almost at Pioneer Hall.

But I thought that there was a bus that went directly to FW from WL as part of its route through FW. This may be a question to ask on the transportation board.

We were just there this past week and when the 7:30 show was over we took a TTC/WL bus directly back to WL. The boats had stopped running at this time (around 9:15pm) I think because MK closed at 6pm.
