WL - 2 Queen beds or Bunk Beds ??

Staying at WL 6/19-25. Have a "Woods view" room. Still trying to figure out if two Queens or bunk beds will be best. Mom, Dad, & sons 16 & 13
Figure Mom & 13yo would take the bunks. 16 yo is adult size

Any one with similar experience, thoughts, suggestions ? Any room location strategies appreciated as well.

We stayed in the bunk bed rooms at WL. My Dh slept on the bottom bunk and fit just fine, he is pooh size. If size is your question i don't think you will have any problem at all.

The bunk beds are big enough for adults. I slept on one and I'm 5'10"... and there was plenty of extra room.

I'd say Mom and Dad take the bed!

My sister's family opted for the bunk beds when we were there in 2003. Not only are they large enough for an adult to sleep on, there is more floor space in the room because the bunks don't take up as much space as the 2nd queen bed.

We did the bunk beds 2 years ago at WL with my two boys, who were 12 & 14 at the time. No problems. Next month we will do it again, and they are both 5 11" now. From what I understand, the bunk bed mattress is the same size as a twin mattress. That is what they sleep on at home with no problems.

We just got back from WL with bunks (age 10 & 11).

We never slept better on vaca. When we moved to the Swan and put 2 in each queens we had much more trouble sleeping. The kids liked the beds too, we just needed to swap off the top bunk each time.

I will say that 3 different people banged their knee of the same corner of the queen bed in a couple days, so watch out for it!

Great advise. We have the bunks requested, but with the 16 yo being 6'1" and 245 (football player) I was wondering if we'd all fit. Sounds like it may be a fight for the bunks !!

I figured they would create a bit more room and I'm glad to hear they do.

Can we store the luggage under the bottom bunk ??


Oooooooooooo...............I'm so excited !!!! June 19 can't come fast enough !
