More rain and thunderstorms over here last night. So I did the extreme crosstraining of turning pages on the HP book. Between the interruptions and getting sleep for work, I should be on track to finish around the end of August or so.
I was able to get Billy out and ran him between the trees in our yard. Since he has been cooped up for the past couple of days, he was going stir crazy and pushing Mom in that direction. Hopefully it got some energy out of him.
MSDave - Good luck on your run today. I hope it is a good one. Since you seem to like to post right before I finish with mine, great job on the run on Monday. That is a great pace.
Kristi - So since you declared you wouldn't post until training, I make the motion that lifting lots of food for the food bank will count as cross training. Although by posting frequently right now, it lets everyone know that the bail fund wasn't needed.

Have fun at the next concert.
Monte - Great job on the walk and getting your friend out there. Hopefully it was a good experience for her as well.
Diane - Hope your shins start feeling better. How people wear heels is beyond me.
AngieT - Sorry about the last shot for the passport. Glad the back is feeling better and I agree not to go too hard at first. I would say that for the full you could probably do it in 16 weeks or so since you know what the half takes. It is alot different after 13 miles, but you know what is needed to finish races and if you aren't expecting to come in first you should be able to beat the sweepers.
Jackie - Glad to hear that Mystic had a fun time. I need to get ours out since he looks like he is gaining a little weight. The problem is he doesn't like to be outside with thunder and that is about all we have right now.
Dona - Good luck on your walk this morning. I hope it was a good one.
Lily - Hope things calm down for you soon.

for your mom's knee replacement.
Christa - What play are you in now? I am amazed at how much you are able to accomplish in one day between rehearsals, kids/family, work and training.
Jen - Congrats for signing up. Look forward to seeing you there.
Dana - That is a great time. You were burning up the miles.
Krista - Glad to see you around. So how was the birthday dinner/surprise.
Andrew - Hope your next training feels much better.
Judy - We stayed at POFQ in the past and loved it. Although the beignets in the morning may not be the best marathon prep food.
Stephanie - Hope your cold gets better soon. Good luck on your kitchen project, I think I have used up my allotment of projects for the year but Lynnda is looking for other stuff to get done.
Sandy - You might need a visor if it is going to be hot out. I wouldn't worry about a towel since it is probably just going to get in the way. You might keep it in your car for the end but not carry it.
Colleen - Lynnda says hi but with both kids home for the summer and the music minister out of town, she is keeping quite busy. I know she is reading because I hear her make some comments on the things I write.

We hope you do Disney this year and look forward to seeing you at the finish line.
Leana - Great job on the 5 miles. Glad to hear that you were able to go a new route and had some shade and breezes during the run. Hope you were able to have your boot camp between the rain.
Sunny - You can never have too many smilies. Hope your back is feeling better.
Maggie - Glad to hear everything went well. Hope you are able to get your training in that you want.
Kim - Hope you were able to get your 10k in last night. Hope your day on the phones wasn't all that bad.
Terri - I haven't had any problems with getting a signal recently. Actually it seems to be getting it a little faster around here.
Hope everyone has a good day.
