I did my 6 miles on the TM. I didn't beat the heat this morning. It was really, really hard and I could feel the right foramen compression after about 3 miles, but kept going anyway. I expected to do it 1:06 and ended up with 1:08:10 so that's pretty good. I can't get over how hard it is to do 6 miles when 6 miles used to be a "quickie"!!!!
Kristi-- I noticed my posture got better, too. I think its a combo of weight training and running. It sure feels good!
To all you outdoor runners today-- stay cool! It sure is hot!!!!

That is an AWESOME pace!! Your LR sounds alot like mine! I have a running belt too! It rubbed my back really bad yesterday so I was SCREAMING in the cold bath afterwards!
I also did a gel around mile 6.
...I have to entertain myself b/c I don't listen to my IPOD! I felt like all you were with me yesterday..no really. I even thought about your encouragement during the hard times (IBS included
)...you kept me going!
It is around 100 now in Charlotte!
