Hi, everyone!
Pat -- Thank you so much for your words of wisdom about college. I am so reassured and you are right -- email should make the whole staying in touch much easier.
:
Lily -- Those pix bring back such happy memories! You and your DS were such an inspiration to me when I was flagging at that point. What I remember most is that you were making the most of the experience, posing at mile markers, taking pix with friends, laughing and singing (weren' t you with us on the whole "zippity do dah" song thing? It was an amazing experience. I am really hoping that this year will be fun and that I haven't gotten in over my head, signing up for the full when the 1/2 was such a stretch for me.
Carrie -- Good job on signing up, sweetie! Just remember, finishing is the goal. I can't tell you how many events I've noticed that people just pull out of the races. I can certainly understand that, and especially for injury, but I want you to know we will all be thinking of you and cheering you to the finish!
Okay, I came right from the gym (40 mins cross training riding the bike) so I have to go get a shower and start my day. Hugs to all!
Can't wait to hear from Judy! I hope she survived without killing her MIL and ending up in some Italian prison!
