Girl! You simply must get to Marleybone, if for nothing else, the clothes are awesome!

I do love the Victorian items; was lucky enough to get some as drops from the Halloween towers. The only thing I'm missing is high-heeled boots. Just not sure that's enough incentive for inching my way up to Marleybone with access passes. And if it's anything like beta, it would be like trying to walk through syrup once I got there. I might consider subscribing for a month and porting over there for a shopping trip, though.

But yes; the game really is all about the clothes!

I have only just started Dragonspyre this afternoon and haven't gone far, but I can tell you that mazes don't thrill me. I may be there a while...if you'd like some company in Krokotopia, pm me! I'd be happy to play some Wizard with ya!

Can anyone give me any hints to defeat the McTavish Bros guys? they are like 1900 and 1300.

I'm a lvl 31 and 1750 health. I;ve called my minion to help but there's jsut no way!

Hiya! I don't remember what those guys resist, storm? Anyway, if you'd like some help with them, just send me a pm and let me know when you can play and I'll help you there. I'm a level 45 balance wizard so if nothing else I can help with shields and traps. LOL LMK and good luck!

Edited to add: If anyone needs a little help in any areas other than Dragonspyre, shoot off a pm to me and we'll meet up somewhere. I'm available most of today and maybe part of tomorrow. I can access the first area of Dragonspyre, but I would much rather help others get there than to battle there, at the moment.

The McTavish guys are for balance right? I have a balance wizard that has finished that and maybe I could help you out if you need it. I brought a lot of gold cards to help defeat those two. I kept using life absorbs to and then at the very end of my battle, someone joined in and I finished them off.

I presently have Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday off and I am a level 46 Ice/Death wizard. If anyone needs helps just let me know and we can work out a time. I am just into Dragonspyre, but willing to fight anywhere that you can get too.

Chedstro/Sea (Morgan Mistcaster) and I will be finishing up the side quest in Tower Archive tonight after 10pm ET. If you have this quest (starts by fighting 12 Pirate Ravengers) you might choose to join us and get if off your books. If I remember from test it is just the street fights and then a boss fight. We also could help you on any other quests you have in Tower Archive.

My computer crashed as I was talking to Falmea to get instructions on what to do for my Pheonix spell. Something about a book. Can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do? It doesn't show up in my quest log

I wish I had seen this a couple days ago, but here's my suggestion if this happens to you again. My guess is that you didn't get to the point to "Accept" the quest, so it didn't show up when you logged back in.

Unless you discovered this on your own, I'd go back to Falmea and see if she's got the quest for you still.

I have completed the main storyline there and am going to enter the academy (I finished the Crucible) - I keep going back to the Hatchery because I know there is a quest for an egg but I can't figure out how to get the matriarch to offer me the quest!

Anyone have trouble with this? Am I trying too early?

Seems to me you are too early. You will be sent back to the hatchery to talk to the dragons and get the egg.

Did you get your Dragon rider staff yet? I think this quest line starts at the Fire tree in the Academy.

BTW, when you do get the quest for the egg, be prepared. If you go in alone, you will face three monster at one point.

If you've just finished the Crucible, you have the delightful Labyrinth to look forward to, which is an instance featuring 7 major Boss fights. {And don't think you'll get away with going there just once, either.}

Once you finally get to the Academy, it's off to The Crystal Grove (aka Spider City). After you are done with the main storyline there, you will be sent back to the Hatchery to get your drake.

The Secure House where you retrieve the egg is 8 levels -- and, as JGoof pointed out, one of those levels has 2 Fire and an Ice monster on it. And the top floor features a charming Myth Boss (4700 hp) along with her Ice minion. Proceed with caution!

Thanks for the warnings! Yes I did the labyrinth the first time, knew I had to go back. Did that yesterday and ended up on line a LONG TIME, because I have to solo so much. One of the street fights with a boss on the street I FINALLY got them beaten down, had like 350 health and a little WIZARD CITY kid manages to tp to me (I thought I was in an instance) = pulled in another bad guy AND then left - oh my goodness... luckily he came back fairly soon with another newer person (both under 600 in full health!!) Somehow we pulled it off.

But I can't do three alone - just can't do it. So I guess I will have to find some help for that tower.

Also for the end. (Malistaire) I realize it is a ways away.

You can teleport into instanced areas (like the Labyrinth or Malistaire's Lair). You can't teleport into the towers in Dragonspyre, however.

But I can't do three alone - just can't do it. So I guess I will have to find some help for that tower.

There are quite a few of us who play the game regularly. I'm sure if you post here when you get to that point, someone could help. You might also try the boards at Wizard101 Central.

FYI, you get another tower quest in Crystal Grove (for the Crystalline Queen) that is almost as bad as the Secure House: 7 levels of mostly Death and Ice. The good news is that you don't have to do that one to continue on with with the storyline, so you can save it for a better time.

Also for the end. (Malistaire) I realize it is a ways away.

It's closer than you think. But you MUST have at least 3 people to complete it. There are a few things there (3 separate crystals to activate, 2 different door guards to fight) that have to be completed at the same time.

Well, I have made it to the Malistaire's lair quest!!! I've done most of Dragonspyre alone, with a little help from at least one incarnation of our illustrious "Kenneth". LOL!

Anyway, I would like to set up a time with whoever is willing to complete the malistaire quest! Any takers?
