May any body fill me in please on what happen in the past 2 weaks?

I haven't been on

maybe a list of updates?

I really wanted to help with this too... FlyingPegasus invited me, but when I tried to teleport, I got a message saying that the player was busy. Does anyone know... do you all have to start this quest together? Or was it a bug I ran into?

Since the update last week, instances (such as Big Ben, Katz Lab, Emperor's Retreat, Boss battles, etc.) are limited to 4 people. You don't all have to enter together, but as soon as 4 are present, nobody else can enter.

What's more, even after a person leaves an instance, the game still counts them as being "present" until either everybody leaves the instance or they log off. [I made that discovery last night at the end of our Lab run. We wanted to bring people in who needed to get the book, but at first nobody could teleport in, even though there were only two of us left in the instance. However, I noticed that after one of our original party logged off, another wizard was able to come in. (That was you, BriarRose.) Once the mechanics of the instance were figured out, we were able to cycle several people through to get the book, only asking them to briefly log off after they picked it up.]

In that case, Marleybone may be the stopping point in the game for this Storm wizard, assuming I even get that far. (I'll try to get a little Victorian clothing, do some sightseeing, take some pics, and leave!)

It's not a whole lot of fun being a Storm wizard in Marleybone. (Just ask LafChill.) The major instances in that world -- Katz Lab, Kensington, Counterweight East & West, and Big Ben -- are all loaded with Storm monsters with high resistance to your spells. You might want to grab yourself a myth wand to make your life there a tiny bit easier.

I'm stumped. Where on earth is Prince Suten Sokkwi, the second of the two princes I have to fight before Krokhotep in the Emperor's Retreat? I have gone through the Lake of Ice, unlocked the gate on the other side, and explored everywhere. (I can't enter the door that is nearest to his icon on the map.) Is there something special I have to do to access his chamber?

Edit: Thanks AZCat for trying to help. Looks like my quest got mixed up somehow; someone else reported the same problem on the Wizard 101 forum. Will just have to wait it out I guess.

Had you already done Kensington? I wandered in there the other night, after having not gone back there since the initial start of quest, and found no problem getting in, just had to step on the entrance.
And, no I haven't done it yet.

I jumped into it once, but I never looked around. I wonder if it thinks I have an unused ticket on me. That might be the reason.

I tried another realm, and this time I fought Prince Suten Sokkwi before the other prince. The quest progressed properly from that point, and I was able to complete it.

I can play successfully by myself but I do enjoy it more with other players. I have defeated many bosses in Marleybone. My proudest so far was defeating the widow spider because she is life and so was her cohort. I have no defence to life except absorb shield. My minor is life my major Ice. And widow was around 1600 plus her cohort put asbord shield on her in second round. grrrr

I find ice seems to get alot of health, right now at level 33 I am at 2195 with a little shield. This gives me pretty good chance of defeating the bosses if I use my ice guardian.

I know you definately need help in grubb run, And grace and i defeated the big bad Mal guy before we needed to so did not get much for that so sad .

I find if you use lots of power gold cards you can play alone just costs you 100 gold per card. I buy them in bulk 20 at a time. I would be rich if it was not for the gold cards.

If I did not use power cards and gold cards I do not think I could play alone and win

I have 15 gold tink cards if anyone is in need they cost 250 a piece I will trade for 2 gold power card 175+ which is 100 each.

Does anyone know what the deal is for getting the last spell? I got to level 48 last night but when I went to my teacher, I could not talk to her is this a bug and is there some kind of way to get around it?

I thought the last spell was Level 42?

Or was this supposed to be one of those "bonus" spells like the Minions?

I have some cards I am interested in using (gold cards) but i can't figure out "how" to use them

They are enhancement cards like "tough" and "monstrous" do you hit that card first and then your attack card? Do you put the card on the enemy first? I can't get them to work at all.

Once you have drawn the card to your hand during a battle, click the "tough" card then click the attack card. It will combine it onto the attack card, the attack card will now be gold with the added amount to the possible hit points. You can then use it in that turn, or save for later turn.

You first pick the "enhancemant" card, then pick the card you want to enhance. The spell card will transform, you will see the numbers have changed (more power or higher accuracy). You then pick the "new" card then aim at the ennemy. The new card will also turn to gold. If you fizzle it, the "enhancemant" card will go back to you side deck.

There are also cards that will transform a spell to another school. Like transform a Fire Elfe to Ice Elf or Storm Elf.

Well according to alot of players our last spell we get is at level 48, this is a bonus spell. Like I would get the Ice Giant spell. And your a life wizard right? So you would get the rebirth spell. Every player that I have talked to has recieved a message from their teacher asking them to come to school for a new spell but there is a problem.

The problem is that we cant talk to the teachers to get the quest for the spell whichs leads me to believe that either: A) They have not finished the quest B) Its a bug, like the flower quest bug C) The spells are not ready, which wouldn't really make since because you can get them as treasure cards D) They are waiting until release of the game.

If it is a bug then i'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to fix it. And i'm pretty sure we get the spell as there is a pattern for bonus spells.

Just got back from vacation and noticed I have a few quests left in Krokotopia that I would like to complete before actually going over to Marleybone and need some help.

So.. I am looking for the locations of the Temple of Storms beetle and where in the heck is the Burial Chamber? I am sure I have seen it and been there, but just skipped over it or did not know what was going on. lol

Ok I have finally made it to the Tree of Life. When I logged off last night I was standing in front of the glowing circles to get in.

My question is: Can I leave this area and then be able to find the ghost again to get accross the broken bridge, or will I have to start over in the Village of Sorrows.

I guess I will find out if I get defeated in a battle.

Once I finally made it across the broken bridge last night I was scared to leave, as it took so much work just to get there.
