About 5 years ago, there was a roadshow of toys in the mall and they had clackers. The guy was promoting them by just gently banging them. I asked to try and showed them what they were supposed to do with them... make them bang, both above and below the hand. And then, I showed them why they fell out of fashion, when they crashed into my knuckles, lol.

plastic pop beads. I found some at a yard sale recently and couldn't believe it!
In high school: The girls wore skirts or dresses. If your skirt didn't hit the floor when kneeling down on the floor, you had to go home and change into a longer one.
The boys did not wear blue jeans!!! Hard to believe. They wore black dress pants and ban-lon knit shirts or plaid cotton short sleeved shirts.
LOL, here goes: If you wore the circle pin on the right side , you "didn't do IT". If you wore it on the left side, that meant you were loose or "easy". No kidding, and I don't know who thought that up.
