With the new ticket system, can DVC members get the dining plan?

I have been thinking of purchasing the dining plan that is offered with your tickets, but I have only been able to see it if you purchase a room package. Since we don't need a room, can I still purchase the plan? When I go to disneyworld.com and go to the ticket area, the meal plan option does not show up when I try to purchase tickets.

Do we have to make a special phone call or are we just out of luck?

The Magic Your Way dining plan is not available to DVC members staying on points, it is also not available to Annual Passholders or anyone using room discount codes. The Dining Plan is available only to people who buy full rack-rack rate rooms, with tickets, or those that book the package with an AAA discount...but only of they purchase through an AAA travel rep.

Because we are also AP holders, we are going to get the Disney Dining card which will give 20% off each meal. details are posted on www.allearsnet.com

I called MS just the other day to ask about any available dining plans for DVC'ers and was told none available just as the prior posters reported. He did volunteer the information that they have received MANY requests for a DVC dining package. I would love to see it happen, but perhaps I'm in the minority.
