With suitcase on the monorail to get to BLT

Stupid question but this is my first time travelling to WDW not using Magical Express or a rental. I will be by myself and staying at Hilton Garden Inn at Sea World and want to use the Lynx 50 to get to TTC. I will be staying at BLT and wanted to take the monorail from there, as it would be the quickest and cheapest option for me to get from A to B.
Any idea if they allow people with suitcases on the monorail?? I will likely be travelling when the morning rush to the parks is over so it should not be crowded.
What would be my other options here? Thank you!

Uber, Lyft, or just a cab. Don't bother with the public bus. IMO.

yep no luggage on the monorail. If you just had a small duffel maybe, but a suitcase, no.

If you didn't have the luggage though, nothing wrong with taking the Lynx bus. Locals do it all the time. But as others have said, no luggage on the monorail.

It was just a thought. Disney usually goes above and beyond for their guests, I thought possibly if he arrived there and explained the situation, they could to it. They transport other luggage for split stays.

I am not very familiar with Uber, I am from Germany - I know how it works but I've never felt particularly safe travelling alone as a woman in a car with people I don't know. Maybe that's stupid, but I was a bit on the fence about it.
Taxis are just rather expensive, I think I might try to book Mears, if they do resort to resort or I guess get over my fear of Uber lol. Anyway thanks for the insight. My boyfriend is arriving from the airport the day I travel to BLT (but much later) and we will also be staying at the Poly a few days later, we are DVC owners at both - I don't know if that might give them an incentive to help me with my luggage xD but I would also feel stupid to ask - I could email Member Services though. I guess I should have booked the stays the other way around then I could have walked but we wanted to do my bf's bday at Poly. Oh well. Car travel (whatever version of it) it is I guess. Thanks everyone!

Actually...you can always take Lynx route 50 to the TTC like you originally planned, and then take a taxi from the TTC to BLT. It would be cheaper than taking a taxi from your original hotel. You'd have to roll your luggage from one side of the TTC to the other, but it's totally doable. Touring Plans had a great overview of the TTC with maps, and it shows how to get to the taxi stand. See here.

I'm surprised that the idea of taking a local bus to a theme park parking lot with who knows who else on the bus is less scary than a private car that is paid for in an online transaction and tracked through GPS and reviews of the driver. Anyways, if you want to take the bus then take the bus. You don't need to go through any security to get on the monorail and I'm sure it's been done before.

Just because you're unfamiliar with or not a fan of public transit doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it, or anything unsafe about it.

I am from Germany. We have public transportation everywhere and are very used to taking it. I hardly ever feel unsafe taking buses (especially not on a Friday morning) or metros, I also like using them and have also done so in big US cities (New York, LA, DC, San Francisco...) and other places like Tokyo.
I've usually had bad experiences (in comparison) in taxis. Last time in Orlando someone tried to rip us off and a CM had to sort it out with the driver. Taxis are overly expensive for what they are, there are often reckless drivers or they don't know where to go or try to overcharge you - that is the case everywhere. So it's my preference based on personal experience to take public transportation whenever I can, that it's cheaper is an added bonus.
So no need to be rude about it. I have my reasons and tried to inquire if I can take the monorail as planned- I can't, so I will look elsewhere, that's what this forum is for, isn't it?
Uber I am just not familiar with but I'm willing to give it a try.
So thanks again for everyone's help!
