With bigger crowds expected at the beginning of Dec, will MVMCP during weekdays...

sell out? In the past, we have waited until the day before to buy our tickets. Once we arrive we monitor the weather report and decide which night will be better. We always choose a Tues or Thur night, to avoid crowds. This year we want to go 12/7. What are your opinions on a possible sell-out for that night?

I think Dec. 5 or 6 sold out last year about a week before. We were going to wait too, but I broke down and got them for the 7th the other day. I guess it depends on how badly you want to go. We really do this year. Now I just hope the weather cooperates!

I got mine for Tuesday Dec 9 last year when we got there. I think only the Friday nights sold out last year. I'm tentatively planning for Tuesday Dec 7 this year but have not bought tickets. I want to see what the weather will be like, Sunday or Thursday are alternates. Plus my mom has health problems so there's a chance we may not go. We've gone Sunday or Tuesday the past 6 years and it has never been crowded.

Yes I wait until I get there and see what the weather will be like. One year I remember sitting at the hotel bar watching all these soaked people coming in off the box grumbling about being so wet and that the party was eventually cancelled due to the weather.
