With an AP, what are the EE priviledges?

We're going to Disneyland at the end of September (my first time!) and plan to go a few times in the next 12 months. So we're getting annual passes. What kind of early entry priviledges does one get with annual passes? I'm trying to plan out our days.

Thanks!

Unless you are staying onsite, you get absolutely no EE priveledges with an AP what-so-ever.

Your best bet is to buy park hoppers for the first trip. That way you'll have at least one EE with your ticket. Then, after you have used EE and made it past any black out days, you should upgrade your hoppers to a/p's. They will give you full credit toward the a/p, so its not going to cost you any more to do it. And, if you upgrade mid trip, rather then waiting until the end, you'll get and discounts (dinning, tours, etc) that come with being an a/p holder.

Thank you! We'll try to do that.

How does one get into Toontown Morning Madness?

They must be 3 or more days, unless you are staying onsite. Onsite guests can get EE with any kind of ticket (except CM sign-ins as the CM would not be eligible for EE).

You need to book thru Disney travel or use an agency that books thru them. AAA and Costco both book thru disney travel.

You also need to evaluate how important EE is compared to the savings you can get from the AP (if you are debating getting a three day parkhopper then upgrading to the AP).

If you eat all of your meals in the park, the 10% savings for the deluxe AP and the 15% savings for the premium AP add up fast. I was saving on average of $6 per meal for my family of five. Three meals a day, and that is $18+/day, not to mention the other things you can save with it. Fortunately, we stayed on-site, but if we hadn't, I wouldn't have given up my discounts for an early day into the park, especially during off-season, weekday visits.

The toontown morning madness was fun, but it's not something I plan on doing again, I can think of many other things I would have rather spent my time doing.

That's my $0.02. Home this helps :thumbsup2
