with all the SSR aficionados on this board, anyone know if there's a direct bus to blizzard beach?

i was just told that there is no direct disney bus from the saratoga springs resort to blizzard beach.
i know there are lots of SSR people on this board.
Our first stay there will be in August.
Anyone know if this is true? No direct disney bus from SSR to BB?

i'm starting to rethink our car rental situation, if this is the case.
(and if this is indeed true, i'm more than a bit annoyed)....

I haven't stayed at SSR but I don't think you can. I think you need to go to AK first.

I can't remember now if you could go directly to Blizzard Beach from SSR or not. We've stayed a couple of times and I thought that perhaps could although my recollection was that the bus went from SSR to Disney Springs, stopped to pick up more passengers and then from there to Blizzard Beach. Whatever, it is easy to get to Disney Springs either by bus or even on foot and from there to Blizzard Beach. I have seen information that the bus from AKL to Blizzard Beach is stopping soon. Who knows what changes will take place before our visit in June/July.

it's pretty amazing really..
the prices they charge for SSR are astronomical and rather than provide value for money they actually reduce the services..
