With a new slide and low pts and large units.....

You took the words out of my mouth.

Count me in ....OKW is already great....quiet, relaxed...just what I'm looking for. Adding on a pool slide will certainly make it more fun for our kids, but I don't think that it would change the atmosphere of the resort in a major way.
Will still be one of our favorite places to stay!!!

Scott,
I should have clarified that I mean easy location to parks without having to drive or take a bus. This advantage is a big draw to many people that enjoying staying at the Epcot resorts.
Thanks for your very detailed travel times, though!

I hope the new slide will increase the popularity of OKW. It seems to have more availability than any of the other DVC resorts, it would be great to see OKW demand increase and demand be more even between the resorts, whatever the reasons are for the inequity in demand. I have read several posts where a more kid friendly pool would encourage famlies to choose OKW. Looks like it is going to be a beautiful slide. A nice addition to OKW. Nice to see any new additions to DVC resorts, they all have thier own appeals.

This I will agree with, however taking the boat from MGM or walking in the heat is not near as enjoyable to me as riding a bus. So while many enjoy the location at BC/BW this is not to say that the other resorts are remote to the parks, it's simply a choice of transportation.

Neither point, no room size, nor pool slide will take me away from BWV or BCV.

The addition of a slide at OKW will lure us there more often, even though we own down the street at SSR. Larger rooms are a bonus when we travel with others. Lower points are always good!

Different people like different things and view things differently. You like riding the bues more then the boats, which is fine; many others hate the buses and try to avoid them as much as possible. You do not find certain resorts remote, which again is fine; many others find those same resorts very remote and it has to do with more then just transportation choices.
That is why WDW is so wonderful, there is something for everyone!
