Witch Hotel for Gatwick?

We are flying out 20/11/08 and are looking for a hotel for the night. We are going to use Twilight Check In. I do not know whether or not to drive or use the train. And ideas??

We have stayed at The Hilton, Rennaissance and Sofitel.

The Hilton and Sofitel are both next to the airport.

We just stayed at Acorn Lodge (they have a website). £99 for the night including 15 nights parking and transfers to and from airport in their car so no waiting for buses!

We used to always stay at the Hilton but we now prefer the Premier Travel Inn.

Another vote for the Premier Inn. We stayed here at Easter. Did twilight then actually walked from the North Terminal with no problem. The hotel was fine.

Votes for the Premier Inn or the Holiday Inn..

I found using the train too much hassle with all the suitcases, hand luggage etc. Last time we took the National Express.

Gatwick Worth is very nice. We used them on previous trips to Florida. Nice rooms, plus you can leave your car there and get a free taxi to the airport and back
