Just a heads up..they have Wishes scheduled on 9/5 and 9/6 for 9 pm on the Disney website. (They also have MK closing at 9 pm vs 8 pm) Wishes hasn't been added to the TA list yet.
No MSEP listed though.

I just posted about this - I know they need to fill in the MNSSHP dates, but I noticed there are also a few nights with no Illuminations. I honestly would not be surprised if during "value" season or whatever it's called now they don't run the parades and fireworks every night. I have nothing to back this up, but I wouldn't be surprised. If this comes to fruition, imagine how packed MSEP, Wishes, or Illuminations would be if you knew it was only being shown four nights of your seven night trip.

I was just going to post this as well. I noticed on 9/6 that the TA park hours lists no fireworks or MSEP....but the official Disney page shows that it is happening. So I am hopeful that the end of September will change.

Disney always changes their calendars as time progresses. September is a very long way off.

Yes, I know they do. I know they can change the day of. But I know ADR dates are happening (or are about to start). So, as for right now, people can at least plan for Wishes those nights since the TA calendar hasn't been updated since it came out. Just letting people know.

Hoping things pan out for these both to happen as it's my boyfriend's first time to Disney. Thankfully we're going to Disney from the 2-11, but we're only doing the Tuesday to Sunday in the parks, so, fingers crossed!

I would not be surprised at all either if they did that.

The Sept hours from Josh's site has MSEP and Wishes on 9/4, but Disney's site only has Wishes.

Sept might be a long way off yet, but my ADR window opens on 3/7 and night time entertainment definitely factors into our park plans. I would love to know for sure what is going on. Are they going to have MNSSHP on 9/8 (right now MK is listed as closing at 7)?? Are they going to have MSEP at all?? Are they slowly adding MSEP and Wishes into the mix? And now....is there going to be MSEP on 9/4...which is right? Josh or Disney?

MNSSHP don't usually schedule early in September. I know because weve been there last two September's over labor day weekend.

We have gone in September the last 5 years and i am pretty sure Wishes was on the calendar by now. The fact that its not updated yet scares me as i hope they don't cut back on it

Considering Wishes (from what I've read and heard) cost approximately $40,000.00 per night to shoot, I will not be surprised if they cut back on it. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the new Disney - where Dreams Come True only if you pay the highest prices.

Normally MNSSHP is not until later, but people were speculating with the earlier 7pm closures and the sell outs from last year that they might start having them earlier. I have no idea, but do think a 7pm closure with no party is odd.

I understand cutting back on Wishes and MSEP, but to offer NEITHER one for a period of like 2 1/2 weeks seems extreme.

I'm just hoping for wishes on 9/21....so we can have dinner at the California Grill and celebrate my dad's 70th bday. It was his request to eat dinner there and watch wishes from the roof. Its the only night it fits into our schedule.

I agree with other posters...September may be a ways off...but for those that ADR windows open up soon, it is hard to plan. We talked about this on another thread last week. If Disney wants us to pre-plan everything - down to potty breaks (lol) - then they need to give us the tools to do so.

I did some checking...and in 2008 MNSSHP started on 05 Sep, in 2009 - 04 Sep, 2010 - Sep 14, 2011 - Sep 13. It is a possibility that given the craziness of the first few parties they will start them earlier. It's not like they haven't started them earlier. Perhaps they will have a media only party very early. Last year they grouped the media party with the first night and from reports it was nuts. Also the earlier parties may be for CMs - as well as the general public. When you start the parties later, you have fewer parties to accommodate all these groups.

As a person who got a refund from the first party due to the fact that it was indeed "nuts," I hope they start them earlier and "thin" out the crowds, for everyone's sake.

I didn't like the fact that extras (one day memory maker, halloween popcorn buckets) were not available until the Oct parties. If you have something you are offering to the parties it should be for all the parties. I understand that manufacturers can cause delivery issues, but it's not like it was the first year they had a party. They should be ordering those popcorn buckets now. And if someone says...well where will they store them - I've seen a lot of the backstage areas...there is plenty of room! lol. (hopefully folks understand that I am sort of kidding). Popcorn buckets aside...I still don't understand why one day memory maker wasn't available to the Sep parties. It just doesn't make sense.

I didn't understand why I paid $74 to be in a party when if I had really wanted to, I could have just stayed without paying (and then have a CM argue with me about the fact that I saw a large number of people without the bands on and nothing was done). Yet, we still went three times last year....I know, we have a problem lol.

Agree completely. I am going to be there from 9/10-9/17 and I'm hoping we get some clarification on MSEP, Wishes, and MNSSHP by the time my ADR window opens in 2 weeks (3/14)

Those are our dates as well. Disney forces our hand to book things out half a century, then will not provide us with the information to help us plan! GRRRRR
