They are available for booking starting at the 180 day window. I don't believe they are bookable online. I know you can book them by calling 1-407-WDW-PLAY. I think you can even book them thru the Dining number now. I also do not know if Member Services books those or not.

There's instructions on the TPAS/Community Board that are a bit dated, but still work. (Though they are bookable at the 180 day window.)
Here's the thread of DISsers looking to share one. Page one has the instructions, the last page, has people (like me) who booked one recently and have room.

They didn't mention it on the phone when I booked, but when I paid at the dock they asked if I was DVC and said there was a small DVC discount ... want to say 5%? I wasn't expecting it so it was a happy bonus. Also was a wee bit tipsy, so I just handed over my credit card and signed.

Yes you can get a discount with your DVC membership. I booked this event and was told over the phone from those booking the wishes/illumination cruises there was not a discount. After the call I went to the DVC website and under the PDF of the perks you get with your membership, it specifically mentions a discount for this excursion.(if I knew how to cut and paste it here I would, sorry.)

I then called back the ticket line and explained this to them. They said to bring in a copy of that perk. When you joined DVC, they gave you a pamphlet with the perks. You can use that or print the PDF version.

I have looked through all the perks on the member site and see nothing about the fireworks cruises. Discounts on other tours, where did you find it?
