Wishes - how long will it continue?

I am wondering how long the "Wishes" fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom will continue. On the WDW web site, under MK special events, there was mention of a new fireworks spectacular associated with the upcoming "Disney's Pirate & Princess Party." Our family would hope to see "Wishes" one more time before it is replaced by a new fireworks show!

It's probably not going to be replaced for a loooong time.

The fireworks for the Pirates & Princesses party are probably along the same line as Hallo-Wishes and such. They'll only show them during the party. The regular Wishes will be shown on regular park nights.

My guess is...

Forever, probably.

My guess is that it'll run at least 5-7 more years-- maybe longer. I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with something new for the 40th anniversary of WDW for 2011.
