How exactly does that work? My itinerary so far has 6:50 dinner PS's at O'Hana's and then going on to MK for Wishes and the evening EMH. We may not be going into MK that night, so now I am trying to figure out how to do that watch-Wishes-from-O'Hana's thing or is there somewhere else in the Poly that you can watch Wishes? How about watching it with sound?

When is Wishes starting that night? If it is at 8 or 8:30, you probably wouldn't make it to MK from 'Ohana in time anyway. I wouldn't rush your experience at 'Ohana. The food is good and should be taken in shifts. It can be a really fun experience.

As far as watching Wishes from the Poly, you can always go to the beach. They are great from there, but I don't recall any sound being piped over.

johnvree is right... you can see from the beach and the resturant.

double check the wishes time the night you will be at Ohana, we did this on our last trip, and we arrived for our PS early, asked for a window seat, and enjoyed the view. No sound, but the show was worth it.

I knew I could count on you guys. I think Wishes from the Poly would be great!

Now I've had a different experience. We ate at Ohana's at the end of Sept. and they did have the music piped in. It was very enjoyable. Also, it is piped in on all the speakers around the property at the Poly BUT... for some reason you can't hear it if you are standing on the beach watching. If you are closer to the pool you can hear it.. our experience was walking out the back of the GCH to our room in FIGI when I noticed that the music I was hearing as I walked out the door wasn't the tropical music I was used to but the fireworks music. We stood at the back of the marina there and heard it just fine. Not a huge crowd to fight either and the view was great.
Can't wait to get back there in June!

Never having been to the Poly (yet), I would assume that you can't see the castle changing colors from the beach/pool/marina area? I should find a speaker by the pool or marina if I want to hear the music? Thanks!

Nope, you can see the colors change just fine... Wishes from the Poly with or without music is beautiful. Enjoy!
