Is there anyway to hear the music from wishes by radio or something while you are on the beach? I was thinking about bringing a tape player when we goin December, but is there a way to hear the real music?

No music, sorry. It's great to be able to walk back to your camper when it's done and not fight the crowds, though. Bring bug spray, though :sad2: we learned that the hard way.

I have been to the Polynesian to watch wishes from the beach. They have music piped in but you have to be close to speaker to hear.

You can hear the music to the fireworks anywhere that you can see the fireworks. Just bring along a portable CD player with the Wishes CD that they sell at WDW. Cue up the CD until they sing "Wishes" the first time and press pause. When you see the first "shooting star" firework in the sky, press play and it will be all synched up.

That's not exactly true...you can hear the music if you are near the horse drawn wagon ride when it parks on the beach to view the fireworks. It is beach area near the bike path that goes down to the water behind pet loop 3. You see a CM drives a truck to the farthest end of the beach with sound equipment in it and play it for the folks in the horse drawn wagon. The wagon parks and you watch the fireworks and then you resume your wagon ride back to the pick up point.
Good luck!

I know this will sound weird, but we've heard the music on the beach when the wind was blowing our direction! :cool1:
