Wishes from Chef Mickeys

Hello, I'm hoping to get a 8:45pm ADR at Chef Mickeys and it looks like Wishes is at 9:00pm that night. What are my chances of being able to see the fireworks from my table? And would it be possible to request a window seat so I can potentially see the fireworks?

Chef Mickey's does not face the MK. I don't believe you would have an option for viewing Wishes.

your chances are zero as stated above. The only restaurant in the contemporary you can watch wishes from is the california grill.

I figured it may have been a shot in the dark. If I were to get an earlier ADR would there be a place in contemporary that I could see Wishes from after dinner?

As stated, you can not view Wishes from Chef Mickeys. However there is an outside viewing area on the 4th floor of the CR, which is the same floor as Chef Mickey's You should get an ADR earlier, so you are finished before 9 and can make your way to see Wishes from the viewing area, or make your ADR at 9:30 ish after Wishes

While you can't view Wishes from there, this is not correct. There are exterior windows on 2 sides of Chef Mickeys. We sat on one side a few years back, and last week we had a table overlooking the lake in the back, watching the boats.

I've sat every place in Chef Mickey's and never saw an outside window?? I'm not doubting you, just saying personally I never noticed or saw this.

Here is a picture taken there in 2011, this is on the side that faces MK, it's possible there was a slight castle view from there actually. Last week we sat on the opposite side and could see the pool and the rental boats zipping around.

As you walk in this picture was on the right, wayyyyyy in the back, I think it's even elevated from the rest of the place.

For some reason, we are almost always seated near those back windows facing Bay Lake (away from the castle).

OP, as Hopefully said, the 4th floor platform - same floor as CM, but on the opposite side is a decent place to watch Wishes.
