Wishes Fireworks Cruise

Okay guys...I went ahead and decided to surprise my family with a Wishes firework cruise. We did Illuminations a few years ago and the family enjoyed it. What are your thoughts on the Wishes cruise? I did the one with the audio. Please tell me I'm not going to regret this.

I have done the Wishes cruise twice - once with audio and once without. We didn't have audio on the second one b/c we booked it a little late.

I LOVE it! I haven't done Illuminations cruise (yet) but the Wishes cruise was fabulous.

Both times we were picked up at the Contemporary due to dining arrangements and got a tour of Bay Lake before moving on to Seven Seas Lagoon & a tour of that, along with a special veiwing of the Water Pagent Parade. Our first cruise was a birthday celebration complete with decorations - so I don't know if that was a factor but our driver gave us all beads going over the water bridge into Seven Seas Lagoon.

Afterwards they offered us to be dropped off at the location of our choice both times.

We've done this cruise a couple of times, before they offered the music included. We really liked them! When it was chilly outside, they give you these big blankets to cuddle up in, and they park across the lake from the castle to watch the fireworks. The driver will take you on a tour of the lake beforehand and tell some good stories about the resorts, etc.
We even shared one of these one year with some fellow disney lovers (from another site - way back when), since we only had 5 of us going one time. It was great to meet them and share our cruise with them!

Thanks for the replies. I think my family will love it I am just choking on the $320 price tag! I scheduled it for the day we arrive and I haven't told either of them about it.

I have been on both, and I preferred the wishes cruise. I would do the music, you can't hear it otherwise.

i have done both cruises and they both are great. On illuminations you can feel the fireworks on the boat. I think you get a little more out of the wishes since they give you a tour and hard to get much of a tour aournd boardwalk and beach club and over to hollywood studios on the water. I would definatley do them again. Price is step but oh the memories.
