I read on someones post a while ago that they did this in Jan one year. Is this possible?? It might be a fun challenge for the teenager in our group to do with us.
This past January I did Fantasmic then I hopped a friendship boat to Epcot did TT and then caught Illuminations and stayed for the EMH at Epcot.
Ok I looked at my trip notes and here is what I have:
I did this on my arrival day (Wed Jan 19, 2005). I got to MGM at 3:15pm hit TOT followed by RNR and a little window shopping after that. Next I had a PS at BD for 4:20 (very good BTW). I was done at BD by 5:05 I then did GMR and a little more shopping and made my way to the ampitheater and bought a churro some water and entertained myself and many kids around me with my gameboy (I think a lot of parents wished they would have brought them). The show started at 7:00pm and I stayed for the entire show and bolted pretty fast at the end to the friendship docks.
I had a little wait for a boat, but made it on to the first one and had a nice ride to Epcot. Once at Epcot I had enough time for TT (bless that single rider line) and then I found a spot in Mexico to catch Illuminations a little after 8:30pm or so. After Illuminations Epcot was having its EMH (was supposed to MK, but of course that changed right before the trip!) so I got a wristband and did a few more rides and checked out the shops. Afterwards I crashed as I had been up since 4:45 am!
Hmm. When we went in January this year I THINK Fantasmic was at 7 PM the night we went, and I think Wishes was also at 7 PM.
I think Spectro ran one night out of the four we were there and it was at 9 PM, same time as IllumiNations.
If you can find a night with Fantasmic at 7 PM, Wishes at 8 PM and IllumiNations at 9 PM and you can move REALLY FAST from one to the other it might be possible! Good luck!
When we were there last October, there were a couple of nights when Fantasmic was at 7:30, Illuminations at 9, and Wishes at 10. The first two would be easy, it would be very tight to get from Epcot to MK by 10, but I think if you planned your getaway and got out quickly it might be doable.
