Wishes every night! July 19 to August 2 (Updated: October 17)Completed

HEy guys!!

Guess who's allowed to get a kitty! hehe

I promised my parents that it will be MY cat. I will take care of the bills, etc... And that I will find an appartment that accepts cats. I want a male cat...and the name I've chosen so far is: Kibou (Japanese for Hope).

I'm open to other suggestions though :)

I am "in love" with Rachael Ray. I am subscribed to her magazine and eat it up every time I receive it. I am also addicted to her talk show. But I don't like the 30 minute meals show. So the only book that they had that was not 30 min meals was that one. She has others, but it was the first one I bought. Believe me, I am planning on buying the other non-30 mins :)

I also love Rachael Ray -- I have three or four of her cookbooks and we use them all the time. Several of her recipes have become "stand-by" recipes for me on busy nights. Quick, easy, and most of them use "normal" ingredients that I usually have on hand. Yea! That's my kind of cooking!

I'm sorry your Dad wasn't feeling well this day!

Just came back from the vets office.

Turns out some mean person left 5 little kitties (4-5 weeks old) in front of the vets office door one night.

So I got there just on time. It's a little male who's grey and white. And I can go and get him Thursday :)

My dad doing do great in heat and he hates A/C, so we kind of saw it coming ;)

But nothing a good rest couldn't fix.

Wow, I got behind! Love your pictures of Tink, my dd wasn't about to wait in that line and it was only at 45 min when we checked. I also love your pic of the building with the phone in the window!
Congrats on the kitty! We have two and I couldn't imagine life without them. One is a grey and white boy named Chester. Have fun and spoil him!! :)

Just caught up! I, too, love this laid back trip! Maybe when my kids are my age, I'll have them too!!

Have fun with your new kitty! I vote for Figaro! ;)

Thanks. I like to stop and take pics of little details.

We had our late cat (15 years old) put to sleep a year ago. He was sick. Poor baby.

So my dad at first didn't want to get another one. He said it hurt too much when the cat dies.

But he changed his mind since it'll be MY cat hehe.

I already started buying things. In case my dad changed his mind lol

I'm sure you will get to have those trips. When you are adults and go back to Disney often, you get to have those. You know what you want to see, and what you don'T mind not seeing :)

Thanks. I'll register the vote lol

I'm joining kind of late...and wondering if we saw each other at some point. We stayed at the CR from 7/19 to 7/25. From what I've read, we were at the same parks 2 days--HS on Thurs 7/23 and MK on Fri 7/24. Amazing. We had a great time and it sounds like you did, too. Isn't the CR terrific?

If you spent any time at the pool and saw 2 boys, ages 3 and 8, with their dad or granddad, that was our group. That's the boys there in my sig.

Now a question that's only partly kidding: how do ya convince people to look at your trip report? I've posted twice with photos, and no replies...should I just bag it?

No don't bag it!

I'll read for sure. My readers are mostly friends from the dis, or people who joined my tr, or members of the July thread :)

Weather: Around 94f Sunny and Rainy

That morning, my dad still wasn't feeling up to leaving the room. My mom and I decided to make plans to leave him alone for a while so he could catch up on some sleep. As my mom got ready, I went down to "Contempo Grounds" and grabbed "real" coffee hehe I can live with Nescafe for a while, but I need something stronger sometimes. So I grabbed a Vanilla latte. Yummy. It was good. I then went to the "Contempo" and grabbed a Chocolate Croissants. I warmed it up, and then went back to the room to finish getting ready.

My mom was not done yet, so I sat down and enjoyed my little breakfast. It wasn't much, but I normally don't eat that much for breakfast. And it hit the spot.

I soon got ready, and my mom and I walked over to the Magic Kingdom where we had a ressie for "The Plaza".

On the way in, my mom had a smoke break, and I took this opportunity to go into the exposition hall and grab a few pictures.

Then we took a stroll down Main Street. Our destination was the Castle. I wanted to see when the Castle show was.

I was lucky. Turns out it was going to start in 10 mins. So we took our place in the hub, and waited.

My mom and I were commenting the other day how funny (and sad) it was that we were kind of the only ones dancing to the music. Which I love! People only seemed to react when the Princess' come out.

Once the show had ended, we decided to walk towards Fantasyland to look at the stores.

WDW09120.jpg

The first store that we went into was "Tinkerbell's". Do you guys remember the dresser where you could look inside the drawer and if you were patient you would see Tink?? Well it's gone now. They have a window behind the cash registers. Little kids can call her by ringing a bell, and she flies around the store and shows up 3D on like a TV inserted in that window. It was pretty cool. Bit I miss the dresser.

After that, we went to "Sir Mickey's".

We started to feel a few raindrops. It was getting closer to our ressie time at "The Plaza", so we started heading that way.

We stumbled up the "Street Party", so I grabbed a few pics.

We walked up to the podium, and gave in my name. Only a few minutes later, we were called. We sat in the little veranda they have on the left.

Remember when I said we felt a few raindrops??

Well as we sat down, we noticed it was POURING!!

We lucked out, as we did not have any umbrellas and ponchos. It was so sunny when we left the hotel.

We each had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Shaved Ham, with the super delicious home made fries.

It was great as usual. I made it a point to eat all my fries lol

By the time we were done eating, the rain was also done.

It had been pouring throughout our meal. We saw people running, trying to take cover the entire time.

We couldn't believe our luck.:cloud9:

Great Trip Report! I love the view you guys had at the CR. It sucks that it was soooo hot. I know how you feel :(. Anyway just wanted to say great photos and great TR.
