Wishes Dessert Pkg & Holiday Fireworks

I got it into my head yesterday that it would be really fun to surprise my friends with the Dessert Party on my trip in July. It's kind of pricey, but I know they will want to see the fireworks and I haaaaaaaaaaate the business of staking out a spot hours before. But, the date I want is July 3, and at this point in time there are "no" fireworks scheduled at the Magic Kingdom. I know that what's really going on is that Wishes is not scheduled, and they will add holiday fireworks to the schedule, but since technically there are no fireworks scheduled now -- does anyone know how that will affect booking the party? In a month (or whenever they open up July,) will that day be unavailable until they schedule the fireworks, will the schedule be revised before they open July, or will they just book the party despite no fireworks being scheduled?

Hoping someone else has booked for a holiday "without" fireworks and can let me know how things went down. (I searched and found no reference to this exact circumstance.)
