Are the tables preassigned? Would it be a big deal if we didn't sit at our table?

We are a party of 2 and are going with our friends who are a group of 4. We booked sepearately so we could each pay for our own but would like to sit together if at all possible.

Do you think it would help to call and note on our reservations that we would like to be near each other?

1- Yes.

2- Doubt that they will "police" you back to your table.
But, know that the tables are very small and the chairs are very wide (by comparison.)
You might need to stand if you were trying to eat at someone else's table.
It also may be possible that you would have no trouble moving both groups
to a different spot that was somewhat out-of-the-way.
They limit the number of guests at the party, that would indicate to me that there would be
several tables/chairs that remained empty inside that large seating area during the party.
Remember that DURING the Fireworks, most guests stand at the railing to see better, anyway.

3- You can always TRY.
I don't know if the phone CM's have any input or control over at which table guests will be seated.

You do have assigned seats...they have a little placecard on the table saying "Smith Party of 3" or what have you. They are small round tables....and we did go with 4 people last September...it's a bit of a squeeze, but we made it work. Just don't remove someone's place card.....and just ask the CMs that are there. In our experience..they are all wonderful and I'm sure if they can accomodate your request they will. Have a great time! We've done it twice (and doing it a third in August) and have had a lot of fun and had some great moments.
