I just made my ressie for May 3rd for the Wishes Dessert Party!

They've finally opened it up for April and May dates!

Hooray!

Did you call or book online?

Congrats!! :) I am hoping to nab one for my honeymoon in November!

Just booked for May 17, I had to call. The CM said that those dates were not open. I explained to her I could see the time available online. She said she would try, but they were not open yesterday. Then she saw we could book and we made the reservation.

Since the start of December I have been checking on line 2,3,4, sometimes even 10 times a day in the hope that they would open up dates for April.

Then today my DW paid off the holiday (ouch :goodvibes) and called me to confirm that the payment had all gone through OK. I than asked if she could check whether they had opened up dates for the Wishes Dessert Party (even though I had already checked before leaving for work this morning) and nearly crashed the car when she said they had.

After screaming "book it.....book it nooowww" I was told to get a grip as all this Disney ADR planning was taking over my life :rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl:

This is perfect as it will be our DD's 12th Birthday on that day and we have also booked an Illuminations cruise for the night before.

It will also be our last night at Disney as we travel the next day down to Miami for a few days before our flight back to the UK.

That's it all our ADR's for our 2 weeks holiday are done, :yay:

After hours and hours of planning :surfweb::surfweb: We have been really lucky as we have managed to get all our desired ADR's, ranging from CRT on our first day, Le Cellier, Tusker House, CP, H&V (Fantasmic package) T-rex, and Chef Mickey’s for breakfast the morning of DD's Birthday and now WDP for the evening.

I just keep telling the wife only 60% of what they each all will cost, otherwise she will give me that look that only a wife can give her husband.:sad2:

Hey ho life is too short and you only get to bring your kids up once.:love::love:

All I need to do now is think of ways that she wont get to see the bill at the end of each meal......any suggestions anyone.popcorn::

Just booked for May 12th :cool1:. We are all so excited.....celebrating both of our DD's birthdays (which is noted on the reservation). This will also be our first time doing this, we were going to do it on our September trip but since we had so much already planned, we decided to cancel. I can't wait to try some of those yummy desserts that I keep seeing pictures of from other DISers that have already been before :woohoo:

Can you see the electric parade from here as well or just a great view of the fireworks? How are the deserts?

Is this something new? We were there last year and I don't remember seeing this. Where is it held? Thanks :)

Just the fireworks, but totally worth it! A great view without the stress of claiming your space an hour ahead of time. The desserts are tasty!

When is a good time to book this if you are planning on seeing the fireworks from here.

The reservations start an hour before the fireworks start and the entry times are staggered. So, if the fireworks are at 9 PM, they open at 8 PM. There isn't any reason to rush since they have your name on your table, so even if you have a later entry time, you would still get the same table.

It is at least a year old. It is at the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace (or something like that).

Booked for May 15 and can't wait! This was the one ADR (OK, besides 'Ohana) that DH specifically asked that we repeat from last year. Ending the evening with fireworks and a total sugar high - what a way to go!

tracy, we'll see you there on the 26th! I booked as a surprise for my DH for our last night there. :cool1:

Just booked for May 20. It will be our last night there, and a nice surprise for the family.

Can someone tell me how I go about booking this? I may not be able to since our trip is right around the corner but I'd like to try! Thanks!

You can now book on-line through the Disney Reservations website (look over on the side; I think it's something like "special experiences") or you can call Disney Dining. It's a great experience BUT there are some considerations:
1. Prepayment is required via credit card. They don't just use the card to hold the reservation; they charge you. Now.
2. The party starts 1 hour before that night's fireworks. You can't see the parade from the party (well, just the very tops of a few floats). If the parade is a dealbreaker, I'd say don't go.
3. Historically the beverages HAVE included cold milk :worship: but have NOT included soda pop. Again, that is a problem for some people.
4. The selection includes a wide array of desserts, some quite fancy. But if you have younger kids that really just want a great big ice cream cone, and/or would prefer the excitement of being out on Main Street to the quieter atmosphere of sitting at tables on the Terrace, again this might not be for you.

Thank you for this!

Thanks! I'll have to check it out...sounds like something the kids would enjoy...big kids too :)
