WOO HOO. I'm so excited. I want to go for my 30th birthday. Thank you for the person that posted this info.. You rock!!
I just called to make reservations for Dessert Party and was told they do not have them the nights of MNSSHP. Does anyone know if this is the case or does the person I spoke with not know what she's talking about?![]()
They won't have a party if there are no fireworks at all.
Last year they had the dessert parties on hard ticket party nights, but since you need park admission you had to be attending the party as well.

The CM I spoke with did say fireworks start at 9:30... I don't remember hearing this, but it's in my notes.

This is what I was told as well. The park is cleared at 7:00 and only those with tickets to MVMCP are allowed entry. So we booked the dessert party the same night as our MVMCP tickets.
We've just spoken to a CM who said we could book it WITHOUT tickets to the MVMCP - What will happen to us if we are in the park with the dessert party tickets and no mvmcp ticket - I know we couldn't go on the rides, but can we continue to shop until the time of the dessert party and then just do that???
when you book the party is it pre paid or pay when you get there? I have a big group going and I need to round up some funds from them before paying almost 300 for the group on my cc![]()
Hi everyone. We will be in Disney the first week of December and was wondering if anyone knew if they usually had the dessert party that time of year? I see wishes is also at different times during that week. Anyone know this answer? Thanks so much.
I just booked the Dessert party for 12/5 (MVMCP night). We'll be attending the party but haven't bought our tix yet. The CM was very confused. She found us a ressie for 8:30 but then went to look to see what time the Fireworks were and said, "Oh, there are no fireworks that night". I explained that it was a MVMCP party night and the fireworks were at 9:30 (hate when I know more than the CM's). She said, "Well, I don't see fireworks for that night, do you still want to book it?"
I said that I did. I have faith in the reservation system that there wouldn't have been a Dessert Party to book that night if there were no fireworks. I had to pay up-front with a Credit Card.
One thing I noted was that the CM wasn't calling it the "Wishes Dessert Party". She called it the "Fireworks Dessert Party". Hmmm.
Can you attend a wishes dessert party without attending the MVMCP?? We were offered the dessert party for 16th Dec, but this is a MVMCP date and we are attending that on 14th Dec, so don't want to go to 2 parties, but quite fancy just doing the dessert party on dec 16th - is this possible?![]()
