Wishes Dessert Party-I booked for August!

Since this is an on going thread I figured I would ask a few questions here if you don't mind. Do you prepay for the party? Is there any discounts? I thought I read that someone got an AP/DVC discount and was wondering if that was true.

Yes, you do prepay for the party when you book it. We did this last year and it was wonderful. Hopefully they continue through September this year again for our next trip. I don't know of any discounts though, hopefully another poster can answer.

If I would have known there was a dessert party combined with my favorite all time fireworks Wishes I would have planned my vacation for 2 days earlier I get there on the 16th (subscribing to the thread in hopes there will be a break in the 8/14 threshold)

Same here, we are arriving on the 18th and hope they extend it...We did it last December and absolutely loved it.....

Thanks - I've been lurking for a while. Finally decided I should get involved

We're going Sept 9-15th and staying at CSR. This will be our first time there. In June 2006 we stayed off site, and Dec 2007 & 2008 stayed at CBR.

Just an update - called this morning and it has not been extended past August 14th yet! Will keep everyone updated the next time I call!

I doubt it's a coincidence that free dining starts August 15th....wonder if they are shutting it down for that and reopening after FD....hopefully!!! i'd like to do it in November!

They did extend it last year. I think it will depend on bookings.

I won't bother booking this year.

I posted the same thing a week or so ago, I'm thinking that they won't run it during summer free dining but I live in hope as we want to book it a few days after the 15th

We had it last year for FD and it was wonderful. I've been hoping that they'll extend it, I'd love to take DH for our 15th Anniversary.

I called this morning and still not open for September, although the CM said that she expected that it will happen soon (although we all know how each different CM will have a different answer).

edited to add: The CM did seem pretty knowledgeable and knew to look it up as the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party as well as saying that if she remembered correctly it was 6/25 last year when they extended it through 10/4 and then it was extended again later to go through 11/01 and then later it was extended through the end of December. She said that last year they released the dates about a month at a time.
