Wishes Dessert Party Extended!

So frustrating. I'm tired of calling every day. I need a non-party night anywhere between 11/14 and 12/2. If anyone happens to find availability in there anywhere, please report.

Just called Disney Dining again. I got reservations for Dec. 9--just what I wanted.

My advice is to keep on trying.

This may be worth repeating. The last time Wishes was extended there was difficulty with booking. Customers were told dates were sold out....and they weren't. There's a little box (it has to do with the Dining Plan) that MUST be unchecked. This may or may not be part of the problem with booking. It's worth a try.

I just booked for 12/1 which is the day we will be attending MVMCP. The first night she offered me was 11/29 which is also a MVMCP date. I didn't ask specifically if any other dates were available due to my children creating chaos behind me while I was on the phone, but it does seems like only MVMCP dates are popping up as available.

I was just successful in getting the Wishes Dessert Party for Monday Dec. 7 (non-MVMCP night).
My reservation time is 7:20 pm for 3 (2A/1C).

I had called yesterday afternoon for either Dec. 7 or Dec. 9 with no luck. So wondering if they got their act together overnight.

That was my last reservation I needed to hopefully I'm done calling Disney Dining for this trip. ('Til I decide to change things, which hopefully I won't do. I feel pretty confident with our choices for this go round.)

I just called to try to change my 11/29 ressie to 11/25. The only open spot was at 7:20. Fireworks are at 10:00!!! Surely that is not right??? It cannot start 2:30 before the fireworks. I am wondering of someone forgot to account for the later wishes the week of thanksgiving, and that is why people are having problems booking it???

I just got off the phone and was able to get the Dessert Party for 11/30 (non-MVMCP nite). Party of 6, 7:00. Wishes is scheduled for 8:00 that night. I know there are better things I could spend my $119 on, but it's Disney after all, and I love dessert!

We did this party last month and really enjoyed it, next month our DS1 will be with us as well to enjoy it.

I called this morning to ask about availibility for 12/14, but was told there was none. Have no idea if that means it's already sold-out, or if she was looking at the wrong thing. I'm trying again now.

i just got November 25th - but at 7:20 - it is confirmed to be the Wishes Dessert but yikes the fireworks are at 10pm. But I GOT IT - that is all the matters.

I second the notion that the dessert party times for 10pm fireworks nights are loaded wrong. I've been trying for 12/24 for several days and just tried again. The CM inputed 9pm ressie time to correspond with the fw. Nothing came up. If fact, she said it looked like it was all booked up (response I've been getting lately). I asked her please to check at 7pm. She said, "well, I'll try for 8pm". She did and 7:20 availability came up, so I jumped on it. I suspect the ressie time will change when they figure out the times are incorrect.

I'm glad most people are getting in now for the dates they wanted. I think getting this reservation has been one of the hardest ones I have ever tried for. I am so excited about it and my DH is already drooling.

Well yay!! I just tried again, and got a much more helpful CM. She found availability for 12/14, no problem, for 7:20pm. (Wishes @ 8.) So keep trying!

It the times are loaded incorrectly, do you think that they will just open up later ressies and kep the party going longer, or move the ones already made??

Just called again and after a looooong discussion back and forth with supervisors, they are working on fixing the weird times on the week of thanksgiving. She had an 8:50 open on the 25th, but couldn't book it b/c they are working on the system She said there should only be slots one hour prior to the fireworks, and it is an error. Try back in about an hour.

I would call back to check this. I was just told they are working on fixing the eroor with times. The party should start at 9:00 that night.
