Wishes Dessert Party Cancellations?

What are the chances of getting a cancellation and when is the best time to try?

Just tried to book on either 21st, 24th or 27th September and there wasn't anything available . The CM said that maybe it can't be booked at the moment for September. I said I know it can as I know of people who have booked it in September already (I didn't say that I actually didn't personally know these people, I just read it on Disboards )

As I am calling from Australia, it is a very expensive phone call to keep making, that one call trying to book was probably about $15, so I don't want to be calling every night hoping for a cancellation.

So just thought I would ask the wonderful people here on Disboards to see if there are ever cancellations and when they are most likely to occur (like 45 days out?) (I know noone can know for sure when anybody is going to call and cancel )

Do you know anyone in the US who can call periodically for you? Someone you trust with all your CC info?

They do charge you ahead of time and I believe the cancelation policy is 24 hours before. I know someone will correct me if I am wrong. People who are going to cancel will by then so it might be worth just calling as soon as you arrive at WDW.

Just an FYI - the 21st is one of the dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. WDW does not seem to be offering the Dessert Party on MNSSHP nights.
