Wishes Dessert party back

I picked up all the Mickey confetti from our table and put it in my coat pocket. I hadn't worn that coat again until yesterday and when I put my hand in my pocket guess what was there? The children at school got ever so excited! :wizard:

ok so if booking starts Sunday and we leave Monday, do you reckon we'll get a reservation for two some time between 30th March and 4th April? I did the dessert buffet at Disneyland for Fantasmic and it was great!

I'm surprised that booking doesn't start until Sunday as that's the day of the first party. :confused3

If it were me I would get on the phone now ~ in my experience not many CMs were very clued up on this, so IMO it is worth double-(and triple)checking whether you can book now. If necessary, ask them to check with a supervisor.

Good luck. :wizard:

have just been on the restaurants baord and you can book now its under the noodle terrace (or whatever the proper name is,:rotfl2:, most cms dont know its there but you CAN book until the end of may.
Dh has decided we are going to do this, who am i to argue???
tracy

yay yay yay

I just booked ... we're going on Tuesday!!!!!!

and yes it was pay up front on credit card!

We did this last year and it was amazing, i would totally recommend it - obviously to those who appreciate a good dessert!

could see everyone else standing all crowded, probably roasting - and made you appreciate being there, to relax a little and enjoy the fireworks with a lovely chocolate covered strawberry in hand! Obviously this luxury comes at quite a price when you add up for the price of a group, but I don't regret it for a second was one of the nicest moments of our trip.

oh, and Tink flies right overhead when you're there too which was a nice touch :goodvibes

Although I'm not a fan of desserts, I'd pay for this if it was a really fantastic location, but it's not. If they started doing a similar thing bang slap in the middle of World Showcase Plaza for IllumiNations, I'd definitely go for it. All that said, I don't like the fact that all the best viewing locations seem to be set aside for special events these days.

that's what i was wondering......whether it's a good location or not..
i'm not interested in the desserts, but i'm willing to pay for a good location..

when we were at disneyland, i paid for us to watch fantasmic from the gallery balcony - it was also a dessert buffet....
but we didn't eat anything...i don't even think we drank anything...
we weren't interested at all in what was on offer....
but the location - the front row of that balcony, was worth a king's ransom all on its own....

so if the noodle terrace was a location like that, i'd be willing to pay pretty much anything to sit and watch from there if it was guaranteed front row, center, without having to be trampled by others...
but it's not center....it's off to the side...
and from what i've understood of the descriptions, you're not guaranteed a position (along the railing or whatever)..
so what's the point?

so i guess we'll give it a pass....

I'd read mixed views on this before we went but was surprised by how uncrowded it was yet I know they were fully booked on our night because whilst we were waiting to enter I overheard other guests trying for walk-ups. The tables are already reserved for you but you can stand wherever you want at the railings ~ because of the layout of the terrace there's plenty of space for everyone to stand right at the front so everyone gets a great view.

I think it would be a waste of money if you don't have a sweet tooth because obviously it's not the best view with the fireworks to the right of the Castle rather than directly behind it. However, we all love our desserts :lovestruc and as this was probably our last family WDW holiday I wanted to make as many different memories as possible ~ luckily this was one of them and IMO worth every dollar. :cloud9:

Does anyone know when you can book up until???
I'm going to try for late September / early October on Sunday (haven't decided the date yet as the one I was hoping for appears to be a MNSSHP night!)

Those of you that have booked already, is it the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace I need to ask for? Want to be sure the CM is looking at the right thing and won't just tell me there's no availability!!

I asked for the Magic Kingdom Dessert Buffet and the guy knew what he was looking for!

I tried to book today for august but no luck.

The lady checked April and I could have booked for then.

Spoke to another lady who said today they have increased the dates up until end May ............ no idea re august yet .......... will try again sunday :goodvibes

I phoned today and was told they were only booking till the 31st May. The lady I spoke to said that it may be extended after May but she didn't know when the dates would be released.

If you cancel do you lose all your money or can you get a refund?

Guess I'll be waiting a while for Oct anyway!

Hi all - just wondering if anyone can remind me what the number is to make ADRs and reservations such as this? We are not staying on-site during our trip in October this year - does this make any difference?

Many thanks :worship:
