If it's like July 4, it will take a while to release them... it won't be until the NYE firework show is listed. Right now (I would presume, haven't dug up the schedule) Wishes is in the system as "none," hence no Wishes Dessert Party.

I checked this morning, too, and Dec dates weren't there, but checked on a whim this afternoon when I was making other adr's. I freaked out when it gave me a time! Had to run through the house to get the credit card!

One question: a CM on the dining res # told me that they don't assign tables based on when the ressie was made. She said it's first come first served at the check-in podium. Anyone know if this is true?

I know it's not first come first served at the check-in podium. I was halfway back in the line and the CM took me up to one of the front tables closest to the railing.A lot of people got seated before me and didn't have a table by the railing. I did make my ADR when the booking window opened up. I also made a reservation for Nov. on Sept. 6, and I read that is when the reservations opened for Nov. I'll let you know how close my table is to the front after I return from my Nov. trip.

Thanks to everyone for posting here that Dec opened up!! Because of this thread, we're getting to do this twice - this weekend for our anniversary, and again in December. I can't wait!!

It looks like they opened up Dec right after I checked today. The internet has been down all day on campus since around 3:30, when I was getting out of my no computer use class, and I just got home. I almost missed out! We got the last ADR for a party of 2 on the day we wanted. We'll be there on Dec 17 at 9 PM!

Called about Ft Wilderness sleigh rides tonight and comment off-handedly that this was all I was waiting for. "It's up" she told me and bam we're in for our last night Dec 3!!! So excited to end the trip this way!! Got our sleigh ride too so we're fully booked! Woohoo!!!

Pretty sure this is wrong. The names will already be placed on the tables when you start checking in. I heard the better tables were assigned to the people who made the first reservations.

Woohoo!! Just booked the 7:00 slot for Dec. 8th...our last night. Hope we get an awesome table. So happy I don't have to keep checking every day. Now what do I do for the next 57 days though???? Good luck to everyone getting the dates they are looking for

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure they're already booking the whole window. I hadn't realized they didn't actually start them until Dec 1 so I had to book later in my trip than I would have liked.

This is not true. Your table is already set up for you before you get there based on when you made the reservation and the spacing available.

Off topic…what is the booking window on the sleigh rides?

I booked mine right at my 180+ window. She told me when I booked that she did not know if it was available yet but checked anyway. It was. She then said it must have just opened up around the same time as the haunted carriage rides, because she remembered they were not open the week before when she checked for someone else. Another poster mentioned the sleigh rides started 12-01-11, which is my arrival day. That makes me think they probably opened the very day I called.

What price is being charged right now? It's listed on WDW site as a range $$ ($15 to $35.99 per person)*.

Has anyone ever gotten it for $15 per person? Do you know what price can be expected for the 2nd week in January?

We are paying $29.81 per adult and $15.97 for DS9. I forgot to ask if there was a Passholder, AAA or Florida resident discount! OOPS. I was so flustered because the lady tried telling me 3 times that Dec 19 wasn't open yet!

It's the same as listed on post #1 for Sept and Oct. I think the $15 in the range is kid pricing.

I booked for Dec 15th and paid $23.99 per adult and $12.99 for a child. That was before the tax of 6.5% was added.
