Sounds like I'm in the same boat with a lot of you...........waiting for December the 17th! Last thing to book!

I'm so looking forward to booking this for December too. I have been on the fence on this as I do think it's pricey for desserts and am not generally a sweets person. But I am really looking forward to not being in a massive crowd to watch the fireworks as I hate standing around to claim a spot in a crowd.

I am waiting for the week of 12/8-12/14. This is going to be my sisters first trip during the holiday season so I am trying to get in as many special events as possible.
We will be going to the Dispalooza, an Allears event at Epcot, MVMCP, and I'd love to get to do a dessert party. Hopefully our December dates will open soon.

Just booked a second dessert party for 11/23

We already have an ADR for 11/25. DD(16) and I having been looking at pictures getting so excited to see Tinkerbell fly overhead and have a guaranteed great view for the fireworks so
I decided to surprise her and book an second party on 11/23

I'm waiting for January, sometime during the week of 1/8 - 1/14/2012. I hate the waiting and wondering. I just wish I could book it now! I'm hoping to have it as surprise for my daughter's birthday! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to try and be patient (it's hard, you know!).

We'll be down the 13th-18th and want to book this as a surprise for my nephew too. I'm really hopping that the trend continues and early November January will open up for booking.

How are they handling the dessert party during the MK Halloween party? Do they still even offer it? My trip is in late October and I have never seen any available times (I keep looking).

I can start making ADR's on November 15th........am I not going to be able to book this one 90 days out? Does Disney not make the dates and spaces known until closer to the actual date?

HELP??!!??!

Not sure about next year but for right now they are only releasing a month at a time. If you check the first page of this thread it will give you an idea. They just released November's dates on 9/6 I believe. December should be soon.

I don't know if they will continue like this for next year or hopefully release more than one month ahead for future bookings. Good luck and check this thread often as well at the Disney site.

It's been more like 2 months out that Disney is opening up booking for the dessert party lately. My trip is in 77 days, and I'm still waiting for them to opening December booking.

I would book the F! Pkg now. If you wait chances are you will not be able to get a F! Pkg by the time the dates for the dessert party open up.

Fantasmic only requires a credit card guarantee. If you are trying to leave your options open, book two fantasmic reservations and drop the one you do not need. As long as you cancel, you will not be charged. I have a reservation for dinner at the same time I want the dessert party that required a credit card guarantee. I will cancel it (right away) if I get to go to the party or keep it if I do not. If you miss out on the dessert party, you could even keep the second Fantasmic package if you want. The February parties will not open until December if the trend keeps up. By then, it will be harder to get a Fantasmic package.
