Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread December 1-29 2012 Now Open!

We do the early parade and have no trouble seeing it at 8:15 and then going to the 9pm Dessert Party time last year. We usually try to watch it in Liberty Square. We're planning the same for this year. Our kids are little and we don't try to ride a lot of rides or anything while at the Christmas party and we almost always leave early.

We probably would do this too, if our kids were younger. I know mine will want to ride everything 10 times on MNSSHP night LOL I'm excited.....they will be too when they see all those yummy desserts.

I could be reading into it, but it looks to me like Disney is starting to get consistent by opening reservations for this 60 days in advance. My Disney Bucks are on tomorrow; maybe early afternoon?

Based on some of your experience, do the ADR's for this fill up quickly? As in quickly I mean the first day they open up?

I'm so paranoid that I'll be at work when they open up and by the time I find out they are open I'm going to be left in the dust.

I called Disney over the weekend and they told me that the desert party can be booked 60 days ahead so Dec 1st should open tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I am waiting for the 11th so I have some waiting yet.

Normally the entire month opens at once although there have been exceptions

I thought about it, but doing it on a different night guarantees that I get to see Wishes at least twice that week. DH cant change the plan if I have a pre-paid event.

We are doing the party 2 nights and going to regular wishes 1 night. We have never seen the MSEP before so we decided to do the Desert Party on one of our party nights. This is our first Christmas time at Disney so I am very excited to do it all.

Back in May, I was told by DVC MS the Holiday Wishes would be nightly from Dec. 22nd. After calling ADR in Sept., they could not confirm this. I wanted to attend the Dessert Buffet with the HW fireworks but they aren't sure if they're even doing this. Would be nice if they do this. I'm waiting on Dec. 15th.

You mean doing the DP during the MVMCP and holiday wishes? They should Im going in November

We've always wanted to attend the Dessert Buffet when they have the HW fireworks the same evening. No one (at this time) can confirm if they're doing this. Right now, the DB is held on nights during the regular Wishes show.

Bummed that we never got to see The Magic, Memories, and You show, but I hear they're revamping it. Looking forward to seeing this in a couple of months.
