Thank you for calling, did they give you any idea when November will open up?:goodvibes

Wishing you all luck in waiting for November and December. I thought waiting for October and checking every single day (multiple times) was going to be the death of me LOL That was my morning routine, grab my tablet and check when I woke up and then check at lunch....etc.

Waiting ever so PATIENTLY (NOT) :hourglass for the Thanksgiving Week dates to open up for the dessert party. REALLY want our whole party of nine to be able to experience it with us this time!:)

Add me to this boat. Ugh. I have it on my calendar to start obsessively checking next week. You know they will open it up while I'm at Disneyland on Tuesday/Wednesday and will be otherwise distracted. LOL

I would just cry lol :) is there anyone who can check for you and get it booked if it opens up?

Definitely keeping an eye on this thread, but i've got a long wait on my hands.

I want to book for January.

Is the desert party usually on every day, with the exception of special occassions?

This is the last thing I have to book for our Nov. trip. I have all of our ADRs, Keys to Kingdom tour, and Halloween and Christmas party tickets. It's frustrating that you can't book this at 90 days out like you are supposed to. It is a pain to have to check everyday.

Last thing for me to book too. I'm even going to skip the BoG reservation attempt in favor of the dessert event. But checking every for November to open is driving me crazy! Does anybody know if its fairly easy for people following this board to get the reservations versus the ones that don't follow it? Or is it all just luck to get into the dessert party? I don't want to get my hopes up!

No, just "probably by end of Aug." What a huge and repeatedly waste of time for those Cast Members!

Based on the past few months and the holiday it probably won't be until September 4th or 5th. We are in the same boat just waiting.

Does anyone know if you can see the parade from the dessert party location?

You can see parts of it. The larger floats you can see the top part of but not much else. I wouldn't go if you are hoping to see the parade. Fireworks and desserts are great though.

We had the 2nd best table and could NOT see the parade. Like pp mentioned, u can see just the tops.

Thanks for the information. Looks like I won't be booking it then, if u can't c the parade. My 6year old loves that parade. And not even going to try to book BOG on Monday, so looks like my planning is done!!! I haven't felt this relaxed in weeks:-)

What time of year will you be there? We usually go at busier times (I'm a teacher, so it's our only option ;) ) and they normally have 2 parades nightly, so we go to the dessert party and then see the second showing of MSEP/Spectro :thumbsup2

We booked the dessert party but we've seen the parade numerous times and plan on seeing the parade at AK, DHS and MNSSHP that week as well so missing one won't bother the kids too much. They are older though, and like I said they've seen the parade many times.

I do not understand how to make a reservation for this. I get the whole 90 day thing. But what I don't get is the times thing. What time do you make the reservation for? Should I thrive to make my reservation for the first time that is available?

Some have mentioned that the earlier the time, the better the table that you'll be seated at (i'm guessing speculation on that, but that's what i've heard)...however, you can have a 9:20pm reservation time and still get in at 9:00pm, or whenever they open up the gate. You can find more information on this if you follow the first thread in my signature. :thumbsup2
