Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

I will be there December 1st too :-)

Awesome! I'm going solo so if you see a 40 something sitting by herself, come say hi!

Thanks for the update.

Anyone else in December on a non party night able to book yet other than December 1st?

And for December 1st did you book online or have to call?

I also booked online. I keep the Disney site open to the Dessert Party page and checked about every ten minutes. I did that starting on my 180 day up until I was finally able to book. It think it was about a week after but I can't remember for sure. Yep, I was just a little obsessed with getting the reservation. :rotfl2:

This us our first MVMCP. Would you recommend doing a dessert party on that night?

Normally I would say no, so that you can maximize your time in the park.

However where we usually watch Wishes from is under renovation as they are redoing the entire surrounding Hub area in front of the castle to increase space and improve traffic flow.

I have only seen photos of the construction so I don't know how bad it will be in December.

So given that, it would certainly be relaxing and enjoyable knowing you have a viewing spot and yummy desserts all taken care of.

Not sure that helps.

Hi,

The Dessert Party is now available for booking at 180+10, but as you can see for December folks, dates that we should be able to book by now have not been loaded into the Disney system yet.
Most likely to do with the fact that Wishes will move later once the extended December hours are sorted out, which is what happened last year and most years previously.

180+10 is a benefit to guests staying onsite. When your ADR booking day opens at 180 out from your check in date you can also make dining reservations for the next 10 days after your check in date. So a total of 11 days.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Chokky

So basically the 180+10 means that at the 180 day mark, I can make ADR's for the length of my stay up to 10 days?

Thanks!

Yes...Check in day and 10 more days so for a lot of people that covers the length of their stay.

Im looking for December 13th or 15th. Are those dates up yet? Im having problems with the dining reservations system online.
THANKS! :goodvibes

It's best to call. I had problems with the online system the whole week of my 180 +10 but was able to get every reservation I wanted including BOG, CRT and dessert party by calling. The dessert party opened later in the week, so I had to call every day until it opened but was worth it.

FYI- just did my daily call and I continue to get the same response that the schedule hasn't been finalized for December which is why a lot of dates are showing for 6pm or unavailable. So, bottom line- lots of December dates aren't available yet, but keep checking. At least I'm getting consistent information!

Anyone able to book 12/8 or 12/13? I never saw any dates available for those so I'm not sure if I just missed them because they went really fast. We're going with some friends who have never been to Disney before so I would love for them to have a good view of the fireworks without having to sit in front of the castle for several hours :crowded:

I know 12/8 was available. I booked 12/9 but I checked all dates 12/1 through 12/10 and they all showed availability. This was on 6/11.

I booked this morning for Dec 14th - I called, not on line.

Dec 14th is a party date and has been and is still available for booking online.
There is availability for most party dates online.

It is the later December dates on non-party dates that aren't released yet.

I'm getting nervous for Christmas week!!! I'm booking for my friend's trip and their 180+10 opens next week. I REALLY want to get this party for them!!!

On the website the message for 12/13 has changed when you try to book it. Instead of an error it says that there is no available times. Just got off the phone and the lady was very confused and said she's not seeing any bookings for the 13th and, as we all know, the times are off. She seems to think there is a correlation between the times and not being able to book.

Has anyone been able to book for the 13th or another non party night after the first week of Dec? I'm sadly losing patience for this.

I just booked (like less than 10 min ago) the dessert party for 12/7 online. It's a party night, so I checked for other nights before booking. It was the only time available during our stay so I went ahead and booked it. I was AMAZED that I even found an available slot (especially online!) after reading this thread lately. Good luck to everyone else trying!

If you can't get the dessert party for them, they can get a FP+ for it so they don't have to waste hours waiting in front the castle.
