Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

I just sent a quick email as well

When will the September dates for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party be loaded and available for booking?

Not only is it annoying to have to call in daily and give all my info ( I REALLY don't understand why I have to give anything beyond my reservation number) only to be told I can't reserve, but different cast members are giving different answers. Some say WDW is waiting to finalize MNSSHP dates, some say it can only be booked 60 days out, some say there are no spots left. So which is it?

I'm sure I'll get a canned response but I figured I might as well try!
 
mom2cinderella- On my last call I too had to give ALL of my personal info (even phone #) after I'd already given my ressie conf #. Really annoying! Most of the CM's have not asked for all tho, which I am grateful for.
 
I was thankful they only asked my name this morning. The dining system has our old address in it. I've changed it several times and it never sticks. I just confirm the wrong address now.
 
Just called again. I think this is my 7th or 8th time since Monday. Very helpful and apologetic CM. She got on chat with her "dining reservations quality assurance supervisor" A "venue search" was done for my date (9/10) for the dessert party. That revealed, once again, that there IS a party that night and there are NO BOOKINGS for that party and that the tables have not loaded into the system to be available.

So, if you get a CM who tells you it's BOOKED and that's why there is no availability, tell them to do a "venue search"

The CM today said that her supervisor said she is going to pass this on to the proper channels, which is nice but .... heard that before....excuse me if I'm not hopeful. :(
 

Ugh. I think I'm more irritated by this response than not being able to book!!

Dining reservation arrangements may be made up to 180 days in advance,
which as of today would be up until September 11, 2014.

Per our website there are no times available from September 1st-11th.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to the dining system via email, so
it is best to call our Dining Department directly at 407-WDW-DINE
(407-939-3463) for up to date dining reservation information.

Officially been calling every day since last Sunday. No luck this this morning on the September dates. The cast member I talked with was very sweet and let me know that they were well aware of the problem and that they had contacted IT about it.
 
Just got off my daily call and I was so hopeful as I was on hold for 12 min this time. I was hoping they were really busy booking everyone's resos for the party. CM knew exactly what I was talking about before I gave her our confirmation number and said she had already been on the phone regarding this today so she didn't need to go thru all my info. Said they had not finalized the calendar yet.....
 
Wish everybody the best on making their reservations..I guess I lucked out when I made mine back in Feb for my Aug trip..Called at my 180+10 and had no problems

Yeah, we were incredibly lucky as well.

It was our Christmas gift to my husband's brother, sister, and their families for our upcoming WDW family reunion. I was sure I hit the jackpot when I saw this thread and was able to book it at 180+10.

Fingers and toes crossed for all those of you still hoping.

And, just as a FYI: there is a "Sparking wine and dessert Illuminations party" now offered at Epcot. The parameters, and the price, are a bit different. Can someone remind me of the price for adults and children? It isn't showing on the website for some reason. My 180+10 starts tomorrow at 6am!!!

Well, that's encouraging! Maybe something will be done about it this week. SOMEONE is asleep at the wheel somewhere on this! Wishes is going off that night, a party is on the schedule, the tables SHOULD be loaded into the system for week of the Sept 8th. Whoever's job it is to do that needs to be reprimanded!!
The CM I spoke to today confirmed the usual info and she also sent my complaint on to her supervisor. She gave me an email address of wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com to voice my concerns. I don't know if this is a different address from the one I've already used. If it is I may send off another email.

The cost is $25.55 for guests ages 10 and over and $13.94 for Guests ages 3 – 9. Both these prices include tax. The prices for the Fireworks Dessert Party will vary throughout the year. These two prices are valid from June 2013 to September 2013. The pricing during peak periods, identified weeks that have a higher prices due to demand, will obviously be higher.

The Disney Dining Plan is not accepted.

For Reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE."

I sent an email to guest communications today. I tried to be pleasant but also let them know how FRUSTRATING this is! I also mentioned that there is a forum of very well informed Disney Guests who are getting pretty upset by the various stories being told by CM's. I will let you all know if I hear anything back from them.

After asking him to look and see if there were actual reservations in the system that day he said he didn't have the ability to check and then I knew we were not on the same page. Told him thanks and is call back later. So frustrating having to go thru this every morning. Luckily today was the first time that I had an unhelpful CM.

I am going to try at around 8:30am today bc one CM said sometimes the system load takes place later in the morning.

I have been following this thread for a couple of weeks now and I am glad our I probably would have thought I was crazy the last 2 mornings

Ya, seems like you got a newbie or a lazy CM. If it happens again blow his/her mind and tell them to do a "venue search" (or tell him to have his supervisor do it). That will show the actual bookings (or lack of). We are all getting quite an education, aren't we?
