Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

WOW!!!!! We've been attending the dessert party every year since it began and I've never seen them open this HUGE of a chunk of dates all at once! Maybe we've just driven them crazy enough! :rotfl: This is so awesome on one hand, however, those of us DISers who've always known what to expect are now thrown for a loop again. We're going in July...so I'm now wondering when on earth July is going to open up! We've always had some sort of general idea, but now there's going to be no rhyme or reason!

Ok...OK.... this is our first time staying Onsite (but second time ever at DW) and doing the DDP- I have booked a ton of character dinings also, I kind of wanted to not have to deal with crowds and waiting for a spot and everything- I booked Candlelight Processional Dining package, Fanastmic Dining Package- so we are going to be at MK for 3 full days- one with MVMCP also- am I crazy to have booked the Dessert Party every night we are at MK? To me it doesn't matter about the money part- I would rather pay and not be in a herd of people and have to waste time waiting for a spot.

I have booked- Dec 9,12 and the 14! party of 3 (me, DH and DD)

If money didn't matter to you- would you book it like I did?

Also on MVMCP night-can you see all the graphics on the castle and hear the music fine.

What is the difference between the two Fireworks- the standard one at night and the MVMCP?

Thanks for all the help inadvance!:cool1:

I might book it twice, once for regular Wishes and once for Holiday Wishes but wouldn't do 3. But, I also wouldn't want to watch the parade and fireworks 3 times, so maybe that's just me. My kids would be bored by the 3rd time for sure!

I booked for the 13th Dec at 8:45 but I didn't see an offering for anything later at 7am this morning - are there definitely 2 dessert parties on a Christmas party night?

I think she means she booked all different days. There's only one party on MVMCP nights as far as I know:).

I booked 3 nights! My 3.5 year old DS loves fireworks so I did that especially for him, plus one night happens to be on the party night :) I also booked a private illuminations cruise and pirates voyage cruise, so we will be all about the fireworks displays lol. So whatever makes you and your family happy go for it as long as finances allow :) my son loves watching the intros to Disney movies just to see the fireworks above the castle lol

Yes I was just answering the above poster's question about booking 3 different nights. There is only one party on MVMCP nights!

I called Disney dining line and they said that today they started allowing the wishes party booked at the 180 day mark.

Wow!! Hopefully that will continue to hold true so we no longer have to keep losing our minds playing a guessing game :) :)
