The Basket at Wine Bar George - question

Hi,

Is there outdoor seating around there? Or places we can bring to eat at Disney Springs (that isn't attached to another restaurant)?
We don't want a table service sit down for our first night.

At The Basket, the porchetta sandwich, seasonal meat pie and olive oil cake sounds like something really good to split between the two of us! It would be a later evening dinner after our flight.

Lots of places to sit and eat outdoors in that part of DS. Can’t recall if there are dedicated seats in front of that establishment but you’ll be fine.

We had the olive cake once when we ate at the restaurant; quite good.

IIRC there are a few small 'cafe table's right outside the basket. But, there's also other places to sit: there's a stone wall just around the corner, and right across from The Basket is a little amphitheater with lots of benches.

Also, if you take a little walk around, there are spots to sit with tables in some areas of Disney Springs - such as around the Daily Poutine, benches along the 'river' by Morimoto to Art Smith's, benches and chairs all around the outer decks of the Welcome Center building, and benches along the lakefront starting behind Starbuck's - plus some tables and spots around the Food Truck circle. The area in front of T-Rex has lots of low planter walls that are the right height for sitting and the trees can provide shade too. In general, Disney Springs is better than most Disney parks in providing plenty of outdoor benches, seating areas, and outdoor dining options - a decade or so ago, Disney went on a project to remove a lot of benches and chairs from their parks which was really annoying - they added some back again over the past 3-4 years, but there are still far less than there used to be 15-20 years ago.
