Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread # 2 - September 2013 OPEN!!!

Yesterday my husband called to make a reservation and the CM said they weren't opening September and October for the Dessert Party as it was only seasonal....until November.
Does anyone knows about this? I want to believe she was only a CM who didn't know anything about it.

WOW, let's hope he/she was just confused. If that were true though, when they recently updated the calendar for Sept... They would have had the whole month in gray numbers, not just Night of Joy & Mickey's Halloween Party days.

Yeah, I hope that too. I called again and they only only told me they didn't know when they were opening.

Yes. We've done it several times in Sept. Can't imagine why they would change that. Certainly always seemed booked up during our trips!

I've "tracked" this since inception with info from this thread (thrown into excel... Like I do with everything! LOL!) and it's run every month.

ETA: just thought of this -- maybe the CM was looking at / thinking about the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant only being open during peak times of year... not the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party...?

The Cms definitely seem to be misinformed of this party. Hopefully tomorrow we can put all of this to rest when we book our ressies!

How do you check on-line? I am staying at AKL in Sept and also hoping to book this but my TA keeps calling and nothing but I am a freak and would love to double check on-line

It allows me to pick a date in Sept tells me there is tables available at one place for this event and to select the restaurant but just keeps thinking does not allow me to pick the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant??

TY....it came back with no tables available from 6:30-9:30 pm...does it let you pick the date even though it has not been opened for booking yet? if so that's stupid it should just not allow you to chose any dates unless available to book...so back to stalking for sept to open

Agreed no reason to make this such a difficult thing everything else with them is on a strict timeline.

Just checked at 6:3am and NOTHING. Really, another day trying to get to a computer. I am at WDW and that is not so easy.

It's gone now, I hope someone from here got in. I really enjoyed this viewing location for WISHES In February it rained, so Tink didn't fly over our heads-but not having to deal with the crowds was WONDERFUL! And the desserts were an added bonus
